Points will be hard to come by tonight.


The Jags roll into the French Quarter full of confidence but a game time decision on their QB Trevor Lawrence.


Lawrence tweaked his knee last week versus the Colts and if he can't go, back up CJ Bethard will be the guy.


I believe either guy will struggle tonight against the Saints defense, especially on the road.


New Orleans D has been rock solid all year long.


They held the Titans to 15, the Panthers to 17, the Packers to 18, they shut out the Patriots and held the Texans to 20.


Only Tampa Bay put up over 20 on them in the 26-9 home loss 3 weeks ago.


I love the match up of the Saints defense versus the offense of the Jags.


On the other side, the Jags defense leads the league in takeaways with 15 and second in turnover margin (+7) and 3rd in run defense at 75.3 per game.


That means the game will fall into the hands of Derek Carr, who could just be the worst red zone QB in NFL history.


Last week in Houston, the Saints last 3 drives reached the Texans 11, 15 and 24 yard line and came away with 0 points.


They turned it over on downs, threw a pick and missed a 29 yard field goal.


All things considered and on a short week, I don't see either of these offenses having their way tonight.
