Rotation #911
Astros -105 over Rangers
Verlander/Montgomery
The Rangers won the first two games of the series on the road and were in the driver’s seat, but went on to blow the last two games at home. Game 5 is a pivotal game in which the winner most likely wins the series. Texas has a history of blowing series they were in control of, and Houston has a World Series pedigree team from last year and is used to challenging situations like tonight. Both pitchers are great, but the X factor is momentum. Houston has it. The Rangers don’t. Take the Astros.

3* SMU -11.5 1H - When I think of SMU I still think of up-tempo and the pony express. But in this game it's actually the temple owls who are the up-tempo team and in this game it's that Up Tempo that will exacerbate their problems. On defense, Temple is 128th out of 133 teams in terms of first half points allowed. SMU is 18th in the nation in defensive points allowed at just over 8. Temple allows 40 points per game which is also near the bottom of the barrel. The SMU defense is much better than people would think, as it's in the top third of the nation in most major categories. Temple will throw the ball a lot but their yards per attempt is pretty pathetic. Barring SMU turno
