We think that the Red Wings are worthy of a "second look" in this matchup. Winnipeg is 3-3, while Detroit is 5-1-1-0. That includes going 3-0-1 at home. The Jets are 1-1 on the road. We think Detroit bounces back at home after a 5-4 OT loss to Seattle. The Wings' offense has been fantastic so far and we think Winnipeg will have a hard time matching pace. At this price, Detroit is FOR SURE worth the price of admission in this matchup in our opinion; consider the Red Wings on Thursday night!

Thursday CFB Free play. My selection is on the 'under' 47 -109 between Syracuse and Virginia Tech at 7:30 pm et on Thursday.

There was a time when primetime 'under' plays were one of our go-to's in games played here in Blacksburg. While that has changed over the years with the Hokies no longer a true defensive powerhouse, I do think we can go back to the well in this spot against Syracuse. Both of these teams will be looking to take care of the football and relieve the pressure on their talented dual-threat quarterbacks with smart play on offense on Thursday. I think that lends itself to a run-happy gameplan from both. Syracuse will certainly be looking to shorten proceedings in an underdog role following three straight blowout losses. Of course, Virginia Tech probably hasn't forgotten the 41-36 home loss it suffered against Syracuse in the two teams' most recent meeting almost two years to the day. Here, we'll note that the 'under' is a long-term 30-14 with the Orange coming off a loss by 21 or more points against a conference opponent. The 'under' is also a long-term 35-18 with the Hokies playing at home with the total set between 42.5 and 49 points. Take the under.
