This is a play on the MILWAUKEE BUCKS-6.5 -115 for our Friday Free Play. The inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament starts Friday for a few teams. All 30 teams have been randomly drawn into groups of five within their conference based on won-loss records and it is important to note that every game counts toward regular season win-loss records so there is no added or lessened motivation. We played against Milwaukee on Wednesday as it lost in Toronto by 19 points in a game it never led and trailed by as many as 27 points. It was a good spot play as the Bucks were coming off a big revenge win over Miami two nights before and now it is bounce back time. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard combined for just 31 points and their minutes were limited because of the game progression as was the entire starting five. New York is 2-3 following a home and home split with Cleveland and the offense has gotten off to a slow start. The Knicks have scored the fewest amount of points in the NBA with 103.0 ppg and are also dead last in shooting at 40 percent. New York is just at 69.3 percent from the free throw line which is third worst in the league after being the eighth worst team from the stripe lat season. The Knicks catch Milwaukee at the wrong time. Here, we play against road underdogs after a loss by six points or less going up against an opponent after a loss by 15 points or more. This situation is 34-11 ATS (75.6 percent) over the last five seasons. Play (566) Milwaukee Bucks

Friday NBA Free play. My selection is on the 'over' 219.5 between Brooklyn and Chicago at 8:10 pm et on Friday.

Both of these teams are coming off 'under' results and in the case of the Bulls, consecutive 'under' results. I look for a different story to unfold as they matchup in Chicago on Friday. Brooklyn is not a good defensive team. At least it hasn't been so far this season, allowing all four opponents to hoist up more than 90 field goal attempts with three of those foes making good on at least 44 of those attempts. The Bulls matched up well with Brooklyn last season, scoring 108, 121, 105 and 131 points in four meetings. They're installed as a mid-range favorite here but have a tendency to let the opposition stick around. Their two victories this season have come by one and seven points so there's reason to believe the Nets can stay competitive and I think they can speed Chicago up a little bit. Note that prior to being held to 39 made field goals in Miami last time out (they still scored 109 points) the Nets had knocked down 42, 45 and 49 field goals in their first three contests. Take the over.

Chicago is back home and looking to bounce back from a 114-105 loss at Dallas. So far Chicago has responded with a win after every loss this season and we're expecting that trend to continue here. With a tough game at Denver tomorrow night, the Bulls can't look past this opportunity. The Nets are 2-2 SU, 4-0 ATS and they're off B2B road victories, including a 109-105 come-from-behind outright victory at Miami to open the month. But with a home game vs. Boston tomorrow, the Nets are finally going to be caught "looking ahead." The more hungry home side not only wins this game, but does so in convincing fashion; consider Chicago on Friday night!
