Rice (4-6, 7-3 ATS, 1-3 on the road) faces Charlotte (3-7, 6-3 ATS, 1-4 at home) this Saturday at Jerry Richardson Stadium for an AAC Conference football showdown in Week 12. This game happens in Charlotte, NC, at Jerry Richardson Stadium, and it kicks off at 2:00 PM ET, airing on ESPN+. These two school's are 2-2 L4 since 2015. The last matchup was on 10/29/22, a 56-23 Charlotte win. The initial odds had the 49ers as slight underdogs (+2.5) against the Owls, with a total points line set at 47.5. The Moneyline shows Rice (-141) as favorites and Charlotte (+119) as the underdogs. The weather forecast indicates temperatures in the low 70s with possible winds reaching 12-15mph. In their previous games, the 49ers suffered a 44-38 defeat against the Memphis Tigers, while the Owls faced the UTSA Roadrunners, resulting in a 34-14 loss. We're on this Over here. Rice has been a sneaky good backing to the over this year. Coming into play, they have cashed in 8 of their 10 games to the over and they've done it with a balanced attack. They can wear teams down with their run game, but ability to be explosive with the pass game. This is a game where both teams should score a lot. Charlotte has seen their most recent games hit totals of 54, 59, and even 82 points. Look for plenty of shots down field and a lot of plays with big chunks. Some trends to note, the total has gone OVER in 6 of Rice's L9, and is 8-1 in Owls L9 as a favorite of 3.5-10, plus it's 7-1 in Owls L8 as a favorite, and finally, the OVER is 6-1 in Rice's L7 vs. a team with a losing record. I'm all over the OVER on Saturday. This should be a doozy! Good Luck, Razor Ray.

I had Northwestern in their win over Dayton a few days ago, and here is what I said prior to that game: "The Wildcats finished 2nd in the BIG10 last year, and they were 13-5 at home. Dayton finished second in the A-1O, and they were 5-6 on the road. The Flyers played on the road just twice in non-conference play last season, losing by a combined 36 points to UNLV and Virginia Tech. Northwesters is bringing back leading scorer Boo Buie, along with two more senior starters. Senior guard Ryan Langborg transferred from Princeton, giving them a starting lineup loaded with four seniors. They should have their way with an inferior Dayton team here in Evanston." The Rams have had a ton of turnover from last season, with all their starters moved on.
