DRINKROUNDTHETRUTH - When this jock and trainer are put together you have to take a look. Rodriguez and Riddle have been fabulous together. LET EM RIP - This gelding is in fine physical condition, having run a strong race on November 7th, finishing third. Past performance data show this thoroughbred with three improving speed figs. Carreno should be on a live one in today's race. NO GAIN N NO WILL - This trainer (Marr) has a terrific win pct with first time starters. It's a big plus that this first timer has been working over the same track that he makes his debut at today. The addition of Lasix might make this animal wake up and smell the coffee right here in this race.

OMERTA CODE - With Lopez getting the mount, watch out for this racer. Could best this field based on the speed fig - 76 - of his last affair. SAL N LOUIE - Recently Perez has provided players with a decent winning percentage with horses running in dirt sprint races. Is difficult not to look at given the company run in lately.

MARK THE WINNER - Boasts formidable Equibase speed figs on average overall when measured up against the rest of this field. Has to be considered - I like the numbers from the last contest. MARK IT DOWN - Entrants trained by Barton in dirt sprint races are generally strong. Has earned solid Equibase Speed Figures in dirt sprint races in the past.

Look for a solid performance given the class advantage. MAXIMUS MERIDIUS - This colt was sharp enough to post a 'top two' workout recently. I think he's ready for today's event. First-timer has morning works over the Parx Racing strip, which is always a plus.

LONESOME BOY - Mediocre speed figure in the last race at Parx Racing at 6 1/2 furlongs. Don't think this pony will improve too much today. VILALUZ - 5/1 is just not enough of a price to take on this thoroughbred. PARTY AT SAM'S - Can't wager on this pony in today's sprint of 6 furlongs. Hasn't even finished in the money in a sprint affair of late. Didn't look so hot last out. Probably won't make an impact in today's event. This gelding earned a speed figure in his last race which probably isn't good enough in today's event.

I STRONG - Atop this thoroughbred on October 25th and Diaz is right back in the irons this time. WILDCAT PRIDE - Barbaran was aboard this gelding in the last race and was impressed enough to take the equine right back.

Vulnerable Contenders: #10 FAST CLIP (ML=7/2), #9 ORFANO (ML=6/1), #3 SHOWTIME BOY (ML=8/1),

FAST CLIP - Tough to put your dough on the win end of any thoroughbred that finishes second and third as often as this thoroughbred does. ORFANO - This horse showed very little last time out finishing seventh. Don't see any chance of any improvement in today's event. This gelding hasn't had any recent favorable outcomes in short distance contests. Not easy to play him in this affair. The speed rating last time around the track doesn't fit very well in this event when I look at the class figure of today's event. Mark this animal as a questionable challenger. SHOWTIME BOY - Pace is so vital, and this front-runner is going to have an early battle on his hands.

This fine animal looks very good considering the high class statistics. Not a good idea to throw out of any exotics. That 85 TrackMaster Speed Rating clocked in the most recent affair puts this fine animal in the mix in this event. SHERIFF N - Good for a win wager just off the outstanding prior class rankings. Have to like this interesting entrant. Don't let a interesting entrant with such a substantial winning clip like this be passed over. B LIKE CRUISER - Many race players will recognize the exemplary speed rating in the last competition. Stacks up against any horse in this group of horses. Tough to pass on this gelding with cagey Brennan in the sulky. Major player for the top prize.
