Penn State enters the day with the #1 statistical defense in the nation. I am not trying to diminish what the Nittany Lions have accomplished, but they played a weak schedule. Ole Miss played a grueling schedule and excelled offensively against many great defensive teams. Penn State lost their offensive coordinator a few weeks ago and defensive coordinator Manny Diaz as he heads off to coach Duke. Both coordinators have yet to learn their player’s names. Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart is a duel-threat QB backed by a rock-solid offensive line that protects him. The Rebels have great, skilled players who should play well. Penn State QB Drew Allar has been great and has many outstanding receivers to go along with a solid running game. I like the Rebels as the underdog in this situation. Today’s game should come down to the wire. Take Ole Miss.
