Wednesday NBA Free play. My selection is on Los Angeles minus the points over Phoenix at 9:10 pm et on Wednesday.
The Clippers have likely had this game circled on their calendar after falling in five games in the opening round of last April's playoffs. In fact, Los Angeles enters this matchup having dropped four straight games against the Suns. In a series that has long been tightly-contested and generally back-and-forth, I look for Los Angeles to answer back on Wednesday. The Suns are probably feeling pretty good about themselves after notching four straight wins including three in a row to open their current homestand. Note that they were favored in all four of those contests. The Clippers continue to quietly go about their business, winners of three straight and 12 of their last 14 contests. Note that Phoenix is a long-term 15-29 ATS when coming off a double-digit home win, as is the case here. The Suns are also a miserable 1-10 ATS in their last 11 contests after holding their previous opponent to 90 points or less - a feat they accomplished against the Trail Blazers on Monday. Take Los Angeles.

Last night’s prop cashed for the P Dub Nation community as Curry cleared 4.5 assists with ease! We look to go back-to-back tonight as the Pacers host the Bucks for the 2nd game of a home/away series. This is already the 5th time these teams are playing each other this season, including the NBA in-season tournament. Indiana has had Milwaukee’s number, going 3-1 against them this year. Will it continue? Possibly, but what matters is the value of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s assist prop, currently at O/U 6.5. There is bad blood in the air between these two teams after the Pacers allegedly took his game ball after his historic scoring game on December 13th. He’s going to come ready to play and he knows in order to win, he’ll need the ball in his hands most possessions and to get others involved early and often. Line functionality is HEAVY here. Giannis averages 5.7 ast/game on the season. Yet, oddsmakers know this game will be crazy high scoring with tons of opportunity for him to rack up assists. They post his line at O/U 6.5, placing great value on the over. Giannis is very unselfish and is surrounded by quality shooters at every position. He’s been known to post triple doubles with frequency, showing that he can get to double digit assists, much higher than his line tonight. He just had 11 assists against the Pacers two nights ago and we see him getting 7+ again tonight. The Pacers allow 25+ assists per game and Giannis should be able to account for at least 20-25% of Milwaukee’s numbers here. Let’s lock in for another dub - Take Giannis Antetokounmpo OVER 6.5 Assists!
