Thursday 1/4/24 Free Plays / Trends / Betting Info / Etc
My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Thursday is with the Milwaukee Bucks minus the points versus the San Antonio Spurs. Milwaukee (24-9) has lost two games in a row after their 142-130 loss at Indiana as a 3.5-point favorite on Wednesday. The Bucks stay on the road where they have covered the point spread in 6 of their last 9 games with the Total set at 230 or higher. They have also covered the point spread in 44 of their last 66 road games when favored. San Antonio (5-28) has lost three games in a row with their 106-98 loss at Memphis on Tuesday. The Spurs have failed to cover the point spread in 10 of their last 15 games at home. They have also failed to cover the point spread in 13 of their last 20 games when listed as an underdog in the 3.5-9.5 point range. Take Milwaukee minus the points. Best of luck — Frank.
Thursday CBB Free play. My selection is on Arizona minus the points over Colorado at 9:30 pm et on Thursday.
Arizona is coming off a stunning blowout loss on the road against Stanford on Sunday. I look for the Wildcats to flip the script and hang a crooked number on Colorado on Thursday in Tucson. The Buffaloes are off to a 2-0 start to Pac-12 play after consecutive wins over Washington and Washington State last weekend. In fact, the Buffaloes have reeled off six straight victories. Keep in mind, they've only faced the 187th most difficult schedule in the country this season according to KenPom. Arizona on the other hand has gone up against the 12th toughest slate of opponents and should be better for it as Pac-12 play continues. Take Arizona.
