WAR GAMES - This gelding's last race was back on Apr 23rd but I do believe he can run a good one coming off a vacation. When Antongeorgi and DeLima join forces on equines the ROI has been wonderful at +100. A wise man taught me to play the lone speed horse. Take a look at this thoroughbred. STAR RACER - This rider and trainer are reliable together. Win percent when teamed up is very hard to beat. You have to really like that latest race speed fig, 104, which is the best most recent race figure of this group. Had a strong closing move in the last race, running the last quarter in less than 25 seconds. A similar race today, and it's straight to the winner's circle. I know the barn is serious today. The gelding gets Lasix for the 1st time. SIR GREYSON - I like this gelding a lot here. He shows a lot of consistency, finishing in the money frequently. Strong win pct this jock and trainer duo have been putting together. Based on works, I look for this gelding to run a big race.

MYNUMEROUNO (AUS) - This gelding hasn't had any strong finishes in short distance events in the last couple of months. The speed figure in the last race doesn't fit very well in this event when I look at the Equibase class figure of today's event. Mark this horse as a vulnerable competitor.

Faces state bred foes today after finishing sixth versus 'open' company on July 22nd. Getting a break of 8 pounds from last race at Evangeline Downs. He should make the most of this advantage. BRAHMS IMAGE - This gelding faced open company last time out. Moving into a restricted state bred today. Is well worth a look. Looking at today's class rating, this thoroughbred is meeting an easier bunch than in the last race at Prairie Meadows. Just missed hitting the board on Aug 13th at Prairie Meadows. With respectable M/L odds right here, he has my interest.

MR. BENNY - Going to have a hard go of it with all the other front-runners in this race. Should be difficult for this entrant to beat this field off of that last speed figure. Not probable to improve enough to run a figure close to today's Equibase class figure, so put him on the questionable challengers list. STREAKIN DEACON - Finished sixth last time. Would have to move up to be there at the wire in today's race. Finished sixth in his most recent race with a quite unimpressive speed fig. When I look at today's class rating, it would take an improved performance to prove victorious after that in this group. Going to have a difficult go of it with all the other speedball types in this affair. SINGING GROOM - This vulnerable equine didn't go to the lead and didn't close down the lane last time he ran.

BANDEENA - With a nice Equibase class rating average of 92, has one of the most respectable class advantages in this group of horses. Can't overlook the connections here, a 29 winning percentage, one of the most competitive at getting into the winner's circle.

Another way to assign class is (EPS) earnings per start. This thoroughbred has the highest in the group. I think she'll be close at the finish line.
