This is a free play on Devils +1.5. The Bruins are playing their first game back from a grueling road trip, losing three of four games. All four of those games were decided in overtime, and all that extra hockey could come with a price. History favors Boston in this series, winning eight of their last 10 versus New Jersey. They have failed to cover as a puckline favorite in three of the last five meetings. The Devils have won six of their last nine overall, and they are 7-2 on the puckline in those games. New Jersey actually has a far better record on the road than they do at home. GL, Jesse Schule
1 Unit FREE PLAY on Spurs/Hawks OVER 245 Both the Spurs and Hawks rank in the Top 5 in the NBA in pace and in the Bottom 6 in the NBA in defensive efficiency. Both teams should have their way on offense in what will be a shootout today in Atlanta. The Hawks beat the Spurs 137-135 for 272 combined points in their first meeting this season. Atlanta is 8-0 OVER after losing four of its last five games this season. Give me the OVER.
MIKE'S STEELERS/BILLS FREE PICK I find it baffling to see a Pittsburgh Steelers team that ranks 25th in total offense and 21st in total defense in the postseason. However, they've found ways to win, and you've gotta give them credit for their 10-7 record. The Buffalo Bills closed out the regular season on a five-game winning streak, but I think this is too many points to cover against this scrappy Pittsburgh team and the weather will play into the hands of the underdog IMO. Bills are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite. Bills are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games as a favorite of 10.5 or greater. Bills are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 playoff games. 2* FREE PICK ON THE STEELERS+10.5 -115
PSP's Data Driven NFL Free Pick:Steelers/Bills Under 37.5 -105 At Professionalsportspicks we see a future where those handicapping sports without advanced analytics and data-driven strategies will be left behind. Our data-driven picks use data integration, search and discovery, and knowledge management along with collaboration with our in-house handicappers. Our models suggest that the value is on the under when Buffalo hosts the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday. The Bills offense has not looked quite right this season and Pittsburgh has the sixth-best scoring-defense in the NFL, holding opponents to 19.1 points per game. Supporting trends: Under is 6-1 in Bills last 7 home games. Under is 4-1 in Steelers last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
Jack's Free Pick Monday: Golden State Warriors -7 -115 The Memphis Grizzlies can't catch a break. They were playing well when they got both JA Morant and Marcus Smart back for a few weeks. But now they are the most injury-ravaged team in the entire NBA and finding it hard to be competitive because of it. Not only are the Grizzlies without both Morant and Smart, but Desmond Bane just suffered an injury that will keep him out for six weeks. They were already without Adams, Clarke and Rose, and both Jaren Jackson Jr. and Santi Aldama are questionable tonight. The Golden State Warriors get Stephen Curry and Draymond Green back today. I expect them to make easy work of the short-handed Grizzlies, who have lost their last two home games by 12 and 9 points. Memphis dropped to 3-15 SU & 4-14 ATS at home this season. Bet the Warriors Monday.
his is a play on the MINNESOTA GOLDEN GOPHERS-1.5 -115 for our Monday Free Play. This is a public side as the line has done a complete flip with all money coming in on Minnesota but this is a great spot making the move justified. The Gophers had their seven-game winning streak snapped on Friday with a 12-point loss at Indiana as they fell to 1-2 on the road and dropped to 3-2 in the Big Ten Conference. They return home where they have been dominant as Minnesota is 11-1 with the lone loss coming against Missouri way back in November but it covered as an underdog and on the season, the Gophers are 12-0 ATS on their home floor. The schedule strength has not been great but they are in a good spot coming off the loss coupled with Iowa coming off a 2-0 homestand. The Hawkeyes moved to 2-3 in the conference with wins over Rutgers and Nebraska as they are now 9-1 in Iowa City but hit the road where they are winless at 0-4. The results are as bad as the record as Iowa has lost those games by an average of 16.3 ppg and it covered only one of those games which was against Creighton but it was getting 12.5 points in Omaha. All games are big but the Hawkeyes could be guilty of looking ahead to a home game against Purdue in a revenge spot after losing the first meeting by 19 points. Play (876) Minnesota Golden Gophers
