Minnesota is the hot winner of their last seven but has played one of the weakest schedules in America. The Gophers got a few new players in the transfer portal, but it’s hard to measure how good they are because they came from Howard and Pepperdine. Their 3-1 BIG 10 record doesn’t indicate where they stand. Vegas made Indiana a decent-size favorite for a reason. The home-court advantage means a lot, especially in conference play. Hoosiers Trey Galloway is a great floor general who will find his bigs for easy buckets. Look for the Hoosiers to be the more physical team. Take Indiana.

The Magic have 3 key players coming back in the lineup here and they lost to the Heat earlier this year and this is a revenge game for a state of Florida battle if you will. The Magic beat the Nuggets not too long ago who are the defending champs if you remember, they come off a terrible game where they put up 93 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves. We don't like the fact that the Heat come off a loss to OKC, but we still the Magic are quite strong here as they are a fantastic defense, off a bad loss and have revenge to boot and coming off a near season low in points. This is the same team that off such a 93 point game about 8 games ago, put up 117 or so points on the Knicks in a big win. Hence, we roll with Orlando here.
