I back BOARDWALK QUEEN here. Have to wager on this filly with the strong earnings per start in dirt sprint races. She has competitive class ratings, averaging 76, and has to be considered in this race. She has recorded formidable figures under today's conditions and will probably fare well against this field. MISS CHARGE IT - She has a good opportunity for this event as trainer, Ramirez, has strong win rate with horses going this distance. The Equibase Speed Figure of 62 from her most recent race looks strong in here. KETANJI - Horses who have been prepared to race at this distance and surface by Broberg have shown sharp results as of late. Is hard not to examine based on speed figures which have been formidable - 58 avg - of late.

NAUTICAL MILE - It looks like Rowland had to 'know' this filly on December 6th when riding her for the initial time. Back aloft again today. Looking at the pps on all of these ponies, this is the only one to stalk. Worth a long hard look at this horse. Padilla drops her down to this class level. You don't need too much more handicapping knowledge to figure that this horse should run well at this level. DIXIE MUSIC - This race horse should be rumbling in the homestretch.

They usually hit stride the second time using it, like we have with this horse.

CANDY ISLAND - Finished second in her most recent performance with a mediocre speed figure. When I look at today's class rating, it would take an improved performance to triumph after that in this group. LADY JASPER - Thoroughbred ran a great rating last out, but that was on the mud.

Has been running soundly lately and will most likely be on or close to the lead early on. KEEN CONTENDER - Rivera has a winning percentage of 31 over the last 30 days. Ran a solid last race. IZZY'S MONSTER - Reason to like this filly as she has in the irons one of the best jocks using winning percentages over the last month. Always seems to be close up at the finishing post.

GRANDMA'S PUDDING - Don't often see a favorable ROI like +830. This jockey/trainer duo has done well together over the last year. The Dec 22nd race at Gulfstream Park was at a class level of (81). Dropping down in class considerably, so she should be in a good position to win. Went a route in a $16,000 Claiming race at Gulfstream Park last time around the track from an outside post position. Moving to the inside at a similar distance should help this mare. DREAM TRAP - Trainer Orseno gave this filly a good stiff workout. Last one was 2nd fastest of the day. Trainer Orseno moves this one down the class scale to face a lower class field. Look for a solid performance in here. NUMERIC - Thomas and Crichton getting together are a horse gambler's friend. I like to bet on this handicapping theory, a pony coming back off a sharp effort within the last month or so. 56-61-67 are last three speed ratings. Improving each time out is something she should do again today.

Hard to keep stabbing at this kind of 'bridesmaid' horse.

Hard not to love LOUSCARDAMON as the top selection this time. The consortium gives this horse a competitive chance to win this one, class figures are tops in the race. When the trainer Sokol puts Palone up for the drive good things happen. Take a look at the 33 win percent. Most recently Palone has been tearing it up, which may give the edge to this gelding today. MUSCLE JACK - Take a good look at making this horse your win wager based on high win stat alone. Feel the need for speed, this horse has been turning in some terrific TrackMaster Speed Ratings averaging around 84. CARTIER ZETTE - Merriman is racking up the wins within the recent past. Great win percentage makes this nice horse our play. The wagering panel noted a strong affair out of this interesting entrant last time. Looking for a duplicate of that to score.
