It’s interesting to see Houston favored by 8.5 points to an Iowa State team that beat them a month ago and is the 2nd best team in America at covering the spread. The public is backing the cyclones, but home court advantage means just about everything in college basketball. Houston is 15-0 at home and you can make an argument that they are the best team in the nation. Tonight’s game features the best defenses in the country. Home court will allow the Cougars to go on a final run to put the Cyclones away. Houston played their worst half of basketball against the Cyclones a month ago and will be sharper tonight.
