I almost forgot about this tournament this week due to the Masters. The PGA never stops and they are putting out two tournaments this weekend. This event has a stacked field compared to the Corales, we will attack both markets with a focus on this event more. The two stats I believe factor in most around here is Driving accuracy percentage and SG Approach to Green. We will focus there along with current form and course history of course. Keep in mind, this is a smaller field therefore the prices aren't as juicy as normal.

Reason:
This is basically a matchup vs Jason Day and we are getting a matchup style price here. Day hasn't played this course in the last three years and when you look at his top 50 finishes on tour, this course doesn't show up. His form coming into this event isn't great with nothing better than T30 in his last 4 events with a Missed Cut. His SG Approach to Green numbers this year aren't great, sitting at 141 on tour, Your Irons need to be solid to play well around here.

Cam Davis has played great at this event over the years, T25-T3-T7 with a scoring average of 68.25. His driving accuracy this season is over 70% which plays well here and the form coming into this event is good with 4 top 20's in his last 6 events with a T12 at the Masters last week. This almost made a best bet for me and for long term clients you know I don't throw those around lightly. I couldn't get there due to Masters week just ending, smaller event on tour and Cam Davis at times can be inconsistent.

Cam is close, T9 last weekend at the Masters which gives him his fifth Top 10 this year. He proved in his debut at this course in 2022 the course fit was good, finishing T3. 69% driving accuracy coming into this event which is solid and his irons are playing well, 15th in SG Approach to Green. Cam will win an event this year, could it be this weekend? We will have an outright ticket on him just in case.

After a T9 at the Masters his confidence should be high coming into this event. His skill set should play well around here, Driving accuracy is excellent so far this year at 74.6% which puts him 10th on tour and we always know he will have good Iron play, 8th this year in SG Approach. He has played this course once in 2021 and finished 42nd, he hasn't played this course in the last 2 years. Due to that, I can't get to a full unit.

Tom Kim is in terrible form and this bet is more against him than on Lowry. Shane actually fits well at this course, ranked first on tour right now in driving accuracy at 85%. However, it doesn't stop there this is one of his best courses on tour with three top 10's since 2019.

If your name isn't Scottie, Xander is right there in conversation for playing the best golf in the world right now. He actually has more top 10's than Scottie this year with 8 already and it's only April. Always some concern with a Masters hangover but I can't stay off this price for his 9th top 10 finish. Fun fact: The next golfer with the most is 4 top 10's this year.
