Brewers +105 over Cardinals
Hall/Mikolas
The Cardinals will face young left-hander DL Hall this afternoon. Hall has been shaky, but he is still a left-hander. There is no team in MLB struggling more than the Cardinals against left-handed pitching. Cardinals pitcher Miles Mikolas is not a big strikeout pitcher, so I expect Milwaukee to be able to get big hits as they are one of the best teams in baseball at hitting righties. Take the Brewers.
Sixers +3 over Knicks
Four games separated the second seed in the Eastern Conference and the eighth seed. The Knicks are an excellent basketball team that focuses on team defense, but they need the elite scoring touch to make a deep playoff run. I don’t think they have it in them. The Knicks are among the weakest two seeds in the last few years. The Sixers are a team that turns teams over and limits turnovers. Philadelphia shoots the three and any team in the NBA and does the same defense of the three-point line. Philly will undoubtedly go as far as Joel Embiid takes them, but they match up well against the Knicks. The playoffs are a new animal, and I expect the more experienced team to take the all-important game one of the series. Take the Sixers.
