The other night, the Sixers suffered a demoralizing loss, and now all the pressure is on them to win game three at home. One thing I know is true: Bad things happen to teams that can’t secure defensive rebounds. The Knicks are younger and more energetic, and they have created a lot of second-chance points against Philadelphia. The Sixers are one strong wing gust from losing their franchise player, Joel Embiid, and anytime he hits the deck, the city holds its breath. The Knicks play an aggressive style of basketball that the Sixers struggle to keep up with. I know Philadelphia will make their three-point shots, but they don’t have the “it” factor to take over a game due to roll players not stepping up. Many people are wagering on Philly tonight because of the bad calls by the refs the other night, and they figure they can’t lose a pivotal game three. I don’t trust the Sixers when Embiid is on the bench or if he gets hurt. Take the Knicks.
