7-Unit Play. #969. Take Minnesota Twins -125 over Pittsburgh Pirates (Friday @ 6:40pm est0
We roll with the Twins here as they hook up against the Pirates. This is a nice spot for the Twins as for starters, we love that they were swept by the Yankees in their last game which sets up nicely as they will be motivated and angry as they hit the road for another road series and they can ill afford to lose yet another game. Remember, this team had taken 2 of 3 from Houston and 3 of 4 from Kansas City, two decent teams prior to that and just ran into a red hot Yankees team that's all. Keller has a 3.42 era, he has won 5 in a row and yet he is listed as an underdog in this game and for good reason. He comes off a near season high in strikeouts with 8 and we think he has a let down as though Keller has been phenomenal, given that Ryan comes off one of his worst starts going 5 innings, 8 hits and and 5 runs in his last game, beautiful bounce-back spot for him and of course the Twins being swept and Keller on the let down, we roll with the Twins today.
