This is going to be the Seminoles year in the ACC. This will be the best Florida St. team in the last 5 years. Originally I was a big supporter when Miami hired Randy Shannon to take over as head coach for the fired Larry Coker. However the Canes have been stuck in neutral ever since. In spite of some stellar recruiting classes the last couple of seasons Shannon has been having a difficult time developing chemistry on the field with his players and also with his own coaching staff. Florida St. quarterback Christian Ponder had a monster game in a road win over Miami last season. I look for more of the same here. It will be a blowout for the home team in this heated rivalry. The Rangers lost 2 of 3 in their series against Baltimore, but I'm looking for them to bounce back in a big way against Cleveland tonight. Rangers' starter Tommy Hunter is 7-3 this season with a 3.14 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. He's been exception on the road in 5 starts, going 2-1 and posting a 2.20 ERA and 1.04 WHIP in those starts. The Indians throw Carlos Carrasco, who has pitched just 3 total innings in the majors this year. His only start was against the Detroit Tigers, where he allowed 6 earned runs on 9 hit and 3 walks. The Rangers are 5.5 games back of the LA Angels in the AL West and 3 games back of the Red Sox in the AL Wild Card Standings. They could really use a win in this spot against a Cleveland team that has really struggled over their last 7 games, going 2-5 while averaging just 3Comment

Both of these teams lost a lot of key personnel from bowl teams for a year ago. I like the Cincinnati quarterback Tony Pike and think he can be the difference maker in a closely contested game like this one will be. The Bearcats are 8-0 against the spread and 7-1 straight up in their last 8 games as an underdog of 7.0 or less. Contrarily Rutgers is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite of 6.0 or less. The Scarlet Knights not only didn’t cover all 5 of those 5 games but they also lost 4 of those outright. Play on the Cincinnati Bearcats plus the points as a 50-Dime selection.Comment
