Well we end up losing our under yesterday by 1/2 point and the Yanks gave up a run in extra innings to lose the game. We think some bad decision making is what cost us and the Yanks the game. Pretty sure those wont happen again today. We were a bit uneasy with the Yanks but had to play them just based on principal of being an underdog. We still end up with a nice win on the Phillies Over so we somewhat balanced out. Today game 4 puts CC Sabathia against Kazmir on the mounds. CC has been pitching the best we have seen so far in the playoffs. He has been lights out giving up a total of 3 runs combined between the Twins and Angels series. The last time Kazmir pitched in the playoffs was against the Red Sox and he was tagged for 6 runs. He has however not been that bad overall since being traded to the Angels. Yanks are the favs here with a -130 ML. O/U comes in at 8.5. We have taken the under with the Yanks for quite sometime here throughout the playoffs but we think the bats come out strong today against Kazmir. Look for a HUGE game from the Yanks. We see a 7-3 or 8-3 score. We will be doing some more analysis here on this one and get back to you shortly with a play.

I am taking the Canadiens for the win tonight. I have the Canadiens as 9-1 SU last 10 games at home on Tuesday. I also have Montreal as 7-3 SU last 10 games vs Atlanta at home. Atlants is also 1-4 last 5 games on Tuesday. Take the Canadiens for the win.

I am taking the Angels tonight to even up the series. I have several nice trends that say they will. First we have the Angels starter Scott Kazmir is 11-1 SU since 9-16-2005 when he starts as a dog less than 135 and their previous starter allowed more than 1 home run. I also have the Yankees as 0-10 SU since the 2009 season, when the line is less than -210 and they are on the road after a loss in which they held the lead. I also have the Yankees as 0-10 SU since 08-05-2005 on the road seeking immediate revenge for a loss in which they held a multiple-run lead. Take the Angels for the win

“1 UNIT” AMERICAN LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES TOTAL (Yankees at Angels OVER 8 in a 7:57 eastern start on FOX-TV----------Sabathia versus Kazmir):

One may want to call this the “law of averages” pick as neither team has hit well with runners in scoring position. Going into yesterday the Yankees (3-for-20) and Angels (4-for-18) in this series have both constantly failed to come up with the clutch hits with runners positioned at either second-or-third base. The oddsmakers had no choice to “low ball” tonight’s total since Yankees ace C.C. Sabathia (1.23 postseason ERA) is on the mound and is going against Scott Kazmir whose career ERA against the Yankees (2.67) is stellar. But for the first time this season Sabathia is working on “short rest” which is going to affect his durability, while Kazmir is coming off a shaky postseason start at Boston where he allowed 5 earned runs and issued 3 walks. Yesterday’s game-three featured the highest scoring game yet in the American League Championship Series which finally escaped the windy-and-cold along with rainy conditions at New York. Yesterday’s game in Anaheim started under clear skies and 70-degree temperatures and a DRY field is going to help the respective running games which can create havoc on the basepaths. Despite his 19 regular season wins and solid ERA, Yankees ace C.C. Sabathia has constantly been the beneficiary of excellent run support as he is a staggering 9-1 OVER the total in the past 10 assignments on the ROAD. For the entire season to date the Yankees as a team are an eye opening 11-3 OVER/ROAD when the posted total has been low and between 7-and-8’ runs.
