        Boston -12

Well, that didn't take long. Allen Iverson is already taking the night off for Philadelphia. As we predicted over a week ago, his arrival would mean little for a team that has now lost 13 of 14 games with the only win coming against the league's most depth-shy team (Golden State) that was at the end of a long road swing (we were on the Sixers in that game!). Boston is in a class far ahead of Philadelphia. They have won 11 in a row overall and have beaten Philadelphia six straight times, including two wins already this year. One of those was by 31 points. The 76ers are just 10-22 ATS when playing with double revenge. The Celtics are well rested here as well having not played since Monday's win over the Grizzlies. Home team blowouts on Friday are actually a pretty common thing in the NBA. Home teams have really been dominating period in this league of late with all three covering last night and all but one taking the game straight up Tuesday night. The Celtics are 25-11 ATS in division play. Take Boston.

We recommend a 3-unit play on Houston.

                Akron -11.5

NC Greensbourgh has not won a game at home this year and are 2-2 on the road. I wacthed Akron play Texas AM on TV awhile back, who is a solid team, and they gave them a game for 35 minutes. That is a good BCS school, on the road and a loss by 12. They can score. The Zips opened up with 2 losses, one by 13 to Gonzaga and have since ripped off 5 out 6 games with a win. A much tougher schedule and a battle tested team here at home off a 32 point win against a nobody, but they are rolling. Zips are battle tested.

                Play 1 Unit on Akron

                  Nick "BookieKiller" Parsons

                  Washington/Golden State 219

For a number of different reasons I believe the value in this game is on the "under":

This is the second time this season that Washington enters this game having lost six in a row, but its current skid has been much more frustrating. The Wizards have lost each of their games by four points or less, including a 112-109 defeat at Sacramento on Wednesday night.

Where there was once optimism about this season, this is no longer the case. Picked by one national publication to win the Southeast Division, the Wizards are on pace to win just 26 games. To reach 50 wins, the Wizards would have to go 43-17 the rest of the season, a clip the franchise has probably never played at in team history.

Keep in mind that the total has gone "under" the posted number in nine of Washington's last twelve on the road overall.

On the other side of the court: The Warriors lost 103-91 to San Antonio on Wednesday night and had nine players in uniform, one more than the league minimum. The Warriors have lost four straight and eight of nine.

Golden State was also without its head-coach for a few games, and despite Nelson’s return, Golden State was out of sync offensively, scoring fewer than 96 points for the fourth time in six games.

Remember, the total has gone "under" the posted number in five of Golden State's last six overall.

Bottom line: When taking into account the troubles both teams are having right now and these strong O/U trends, the sharp money in this one is on the UNDER!

                  9* UNDER.
