Clemson vs. Florida State

The Tigers won the earlier meeting (77-67) and HC Oliver Purnell's team is in for a very rude reception in Tallahassee. HC Leonard Hamilton and his Seminoles are a sold (26-8-1) ATS as a dog or favorite of less than (3) points when playing with conference revenge. Clemson is on a (0-6) ATS run on the road and we expect FSU to put the Tomahawk Chop to work on the Tigers here. Big Game James Patrick's Sunday selection in ACC Basketball is Florida State Seminoles.

Scott Delaney Sunday winner ... 40-Dime TEMPLE OWLS ... Back in the Big 5, as La Salle welcomes Temple, and this ain't gonna be no friendly visit.

The Explorers are banged up pretty bad, missing three seniors who have combined for 3,000 points, and are going to struggle mightily against this defense today.

Ranked 20th in the nation, Temple is sitting in a three-way tie for first place in the Atlantic 10 and has two regular-season games remaining after this one; there is plenty to play for.

Not only are the Owls out to secure a first-round bye in the conference tournament, but you have to believe they're looking for a solid seed if they can escape the final stretch with an impressive 3-0 run.

Temple, at 23-5 overall and 11-2 in A-10 play, is always a Selection Committee favorite to send to the Dance, and the Owls once again look like a prime target.

They just need to win big down the stretch, and that includes the blowout they're expected to hand down today against a La Salle team that will be lucky to end up in the postseason conference tourney.

Only the top 12 teams go, and along with St. Joe's and a couple of others, the Explorers are in danger of missing out on all the fun. Temple already won the first meeting, by 12, back in January.

The final thought in this is that Temple knows darned well Richmond and Xavier will be beating one another up today, in a game between the teams that are tied with the Owls atop the conference standings. So you have to believe the Owls are going to be looking to take advantage of that situation by scoring an easy win today.
