ANALYSIS:
Florida State is one of the most inefficient offenses in the ACC. Only the Tarheels and Cavaliers have been worse from a points per possession basis this season in conference play. Not surprisingly Florida St has just a 1.5 ppg scoring advantage in ACC play this season. Despite a solid defense they rarely find themselves able to extend leads or build big margins. That makes them a lousy favorite and gives us plenty of wiggle room to take points with an underrated Wake Forest side.
Don't think the Seminoles have a home court advantage, especially when laying points. Looking back through the log book FSU is 4-12 in their last 16 games when favored at home. Over their last 29 as a home fav they are an abysmal 6-23! This is a team that was just favored by five over a Clemson side famous for being a pushover on the road. The Seminoles lost outright as their offensive woes (shot just 38%) once again prevented them from building and keeping a lead of substance. Take Wake.
