    triple-dime bet 663 Boston U 7.5 (-110) Bodog vs 664 Oregon St.
    Analysis: 2 things:

    1. Write up to come in the next 30 minutes. Had to wait on what i thought was some last minute line movement.

    2. The selection is BOSTON UNIVERSITY, not BC. In the system it only gives me the option of BC, so don't get confused. This is a TRIPLE STAR play on BOSTON UNIVERSITY!

BOSTON UNIVERSITY WINS this game outright or loses by 1 POSSESSION MAX!

I feel pretty strongly that Boston U wins this game OUTRIGHT. In my personal power rankings, i have Boston about 55 spots higher than i do Oregon St. Boston is playing their best basketball of the season, and quite frankly, they are excited to be here today. That excitement is key, as about the only thing i had working AGAINST them was the long road trip they had to make for this game. However, this is a SENIOR oriented team so they are plenty experienced for this type of situation. If this was the regular season i would be a bit wary, but this is the postseason. Boston knows this very well could be their last game together and for their entire basketball careers. They will be ready to play today, and i expect nothing short of a brilliant effort from them.

Oregon St. is great at home, but at what costs? How often is Oregon St. this big of a favorite? How often is Oregon St. the HUNTED? The answer to both of those questions is NOT VERY OFTEN! Oregon St. won this very tournament last year, and there was little doubt that this team would be playing in a "better" tournament this season. This team started off in the preseason top 50 polls of nearly every major poll there is. Quite simply, this team underperformed for most of the season. This team simply isn't that good in my opinion. I know they have a nice home court advantage, but again, how often are they this big of a favorite? Oregon St. is much better at being the hunter instead of the hunted. A big reason for that is the fact that Oregon St. is so good at slowing down the pace of play. They run such an intricate offense based on precision and overall long possessions. That alone keeps games close, which is great when they are the listed underdog. What makes them so great is exactly what makes them so poor as the listed favorite.

Boston University can handle what Oregon St. is going to give them tonight. As mentioned earlier, Boston has enough senior leadership and overall smarts to handle this Oregon St. team tonight. Boston can score, as their offense is firing on all cylinders tonight. Boston can also shoot from outside, which is key when playing the Beavers. The simple fact is these teams match up so well with each other, that this game is going to go down to the bitter end before the outcome is decided. I truly believe that Boston U is the better overall team that is actually in better form right now. This is going to be a low scoring game, with points at a premium. I trust this efficient Boston offense to hang tough tonight. I simply see absolutely no way that this Oregon St. team can pull away from them. Oregon St. won this tournament last year, so i doubt that they are as motivated as they were last year. If anything, they are likely to be a little UN-motivated today as they have already tasted success in this tourney and are playing a relative "unknown" mid major. I KNOW that Boston is excited for this game, as this is a big deal for them. On the cou‘rt tonight, i think we will see who wants this game more. I personally set this game at -3 for Oregon St, and even then i had a lean to Boston University. I ADORE the line we are getting tongiht, and i'm backing BOSTON UNIVERSITY +7.5 as my PINATA TRIPLE STAR for today!
