For all the pomp and circumstance that is the NYY- Redsox rivalry, the games themselves are boring as all hell to watch. Every hitter works the count innings take 25-30 min to play, tons of pitching changes and this usually leads to plenty of overs in this series. Having said that, a total of 9 for these 2 pitchers is a bit much.The pitchers are way ahead of the hitters at this point. Sabathia has struggled in the cold weather of April the last 3 years. The thing is that it is going to be 60 degrees at Fenway Sunday night. Sabathia will face a Sox team that has less power than in years past. Likely Ortiz won't be in the lineup as well as JD drew might be out vs the lefty also. April has been the month in the last 3 years Beckett has had his lowest ERA and the most wins. With Beckett looking good this spring and the always strong relief corps these 2 teams have, an non entertaining 5-2 or 4-3 game here is a very real possibility.

Analysis: This is the Buried Treasure for Easter Sunday!

This line is likely to close right at -6. I believe the public will keep betting into the Lakers. Fact is, this game is far more important to San Antonio than it is to the Lakers. I think this is a classic situation of 1 team wanting this game far more than the other team. The Lakers are coming off a demolishing game against the Utah Jazz, so all appears right with the Lakers. That's great and all, but when was the last time we saw the Lakers put together back to back great efforts? Let's face it, the Lakers are going to have to be great today to cover this INFLATED number.

George Hill and the BENCH are going to play key roles in todays game. I expect the Spurs to play this game like it's a playoff game. Meanwhile, the Lakers are going to get Luke Walton some playing time, and don't be surprise if some other reserves get some playing time as well. Again, this game means more to the Spurs than it does to the Lakers.

I just saw that this line has dropped down to 4.5. Thats outrageous and it actually tells me sorta what we were talking about earlier. That this game means nothing to the Lakers. Don't be surprised to see the Lakers sit some of their starters. If all you can see is 4.5 across the board, i suggest a Holiday MONEYLINE play on the Spurs. Remember, this Buried Treasure is released so early that we don't see the "big move" of the day. Fact is, the past few days we've gotten the worst of the number. Today we get the best of the number. If you didn't get it right at the beginning, i strongly suggest you play the ML here for a low risk, higher reward payout.

Again, the Spurs are a veteran team that is going to bring the fight to the Lakers. The Lakers haven't put up strong efforts back to back in quite some time. They won't today, as they simply don't care about this game. THe Spurs want this game, as they don't want to face the Lakers in the 1st Round of the Playoffs. They need to keep winning to stay ahead of Portland. The urgency in this game is going to be the difference.

Behind a strong game as usual from Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobli, the bench play of the Spurs and George Hill will be the difference today. I'm backing the Spurs +6 as the BURIED TREASURE for today. For everyone that can't get a line better than +5, play the MONEYLINE for a half unit! Happy Easter everyone!
