Roy Halladay’s start has been moved up from Saturday to this Friday game. That actually puts him on regular rest as the club had a day off this week. The Phillies want this horse to carry the load as often as he can—and so do we. He featured in our Game of the Week last week, and he’s the Game of the Week again.

In his first two starts, Halladay has thrown 16 IP with a WHIP of 0.94, a ridiculous ERA of 0.56, all the while fanning 17 while walking 2. He’s backed up by an offense that can score runs from anywhere in the order. Florida starter Anibal Sanchez is nothing special.

Take the Phillies as early as you can—this number’s only going higher. Best of luck, DC.

In game 1 of this series there were 5 goals scored, 4 of them were power play goals with all 3 of the Coyotes goals coming with the man advantage. Phoenix probably won't score 3 more power play goals in the rest of this series and you know the Wings will be better on the PK. Also Detroit will struggle to score with the Coyotes playing as good a defense as they are and there is no way Bryzgolav will allow a bad goal like he did in game 1. Everything points to a 2-1 or 1-0 game in this one. Thank you and good luck.

5* (969) White Sox at Indians: The White Sox got their offense rolling this week, despite a 7-3 loss yesterday. The previous night Carlos Quentin drove in a career-high six runs, highlighted by a grand slam in the top of the fifth, in an 11-1 rout. This offense will have no trouble hitting in Cleveland's small stadium, especially against Mitch Talbot and his 7.20 ERA. His problems are youth and control, walking 5 batters in 5 innings, as well as 6 hits allowed. meanwhile, the White Sox have no such worries with ace lefty Mark Buehrle, who is 2-0 with a 2.40 ERA. He's already faced the punchless Cleveland lineup this season, firing a 3-hitter with no runs in 7 innings. Play the White Sox.
