The Red Sox picked up John Lackey to fit into this spot, as the Sox have been struggling falling 5 games behind the Rays and Yanks in the AL East already. Lackey has been brilliant in his 2 starts. Rays Jeff Niemann is off to a good start, but both his outings were against Baltimore, this one will be different. He was touched up for 6 runs in 3 innings in his only outing a year ago vs the Sox, and the Rays just 2-6 in their last 7 on the road behind Niemann. Sox 104-48 at home vs righthanders in their last 152, and Rays just 19-53 in their last 72 here. Boston gets this one.
