EASY BASEBALL BETTING

We went +1.92 units yesterday, hitting a couple of big dogs (+163 and a +229).

Blue Jays (+122) over Cardinals - The Cardinals swept through the first two games against the Blue Jays but was done against lefties. They average about a half a game better against lefties than they do against righties. After having faced lefties in two consecutive games, we expect their batters to be off balance today on the road against a "meaningless" interleague foe. With that said, their offensive projection is low today in our minds. The Cardinals may be 10-5 with Wainwright on the mound but would he be so good if going against a team trying to fend off being swept every game? Let alone his own team struggling offensively? Another good angle at play in today's game is the fact that the Blue Jays lost 1-0 yesterday. Teams that lose at this exact number tend to bounce back if in the proper position.

Red Sox (+106) over Rockies - The Red Sox have lost two straight games but are still 7-3L10. Momentum can be completely switched around in baseball but we are betting that it is not today. The Red Sox did score 6 runs yesterday and they have Matsuzaka on the mound today trying to fight to fend off being swept. The Red Sox are better than even money today.

Braves (-101) over White Sox - Again, we are going with another team looking to fight off being swept. No team wants to be swept because they know it sucks but they also know it takes this bad momentum into their next game. They would say a win can turn things around for them. When you look at interleague games, both teams are not necessarily all that excited to play each other as they would be in a divisional rivalry game. So any type of motivation advantage is golden for these types of games. Better for the Braves is that they will face a righty today instead of two lefties previous. Unlike the Cardinals, where we said they would be off balance in doing this, the Braves are better against righties so they would revel in getting to face one.

I REALLY see great value with the METS at HOME tonight vs a team who is flat out BAD on the ROAD. I also see a starting pitcher EDGE to us tonight as well for the HOME team. The METS are one of MLB best HOME teams at (26-10) & have gone (12-1) their L/13 HOME games coming into tonight. They look to sweep the Tigers tonight, who are a horrid (13-21) on the ROAD this season & actually are (0-5) AT Citifield overall.

Takahasi takes the ball for the METS tonight--& he's coming off a great start his last start AT the Yankees: Win, 6 IP, 0 runs, 4 hits, 2 BB, 3 K's. Takahashi also has been outstanding in his 3 interleague starts: 2-0, 0.47 ERA.

Galrraga takes the ball for the TIGERS tonight--& he's coming off a poor start vs Arizona: 4 1/3 IP, 4 ER, 7 hits, 2 BB, 2 K's. Galarrage has flat out STRUGGLED on the ROAD this year & all last season too---as he has a combined ERA of almost 6.00 on the ROAD last season & this season. He also has been terrible in his 2 interleague starts as well: 0-2, 12.15 ERA.

The METS have a RED HOT BULLPEN too, while the TIGERS bullpen has struggled.
