VEGAS EXPERS TIP OF THE DAY

The Rangers are 8-0 when C.J. Wilson starts as a favorite after throwing more than 100 pitches and the Indians are 0-9 with Justin Masterson when he threw more than 100 pitches at home in his last start. A perfect 17-0 for the Rangers. Consider Texas.

        Play on: Texas Rangers

                WUNDERDOG

Game: Indiana at Chicago (8:00 PM Eastern)
                Pick: Indiana -155 (moneyline)

This becomes a big game for Indiana who after last season's run to the WNBA Championship round, find themselves two full games behind Washington for second place in the East. The 9-6 record is good, but since they started 0-2, they have since gone 9-4. This team was out of the gate at 2-3, but has since only lost three games - all to teams with winning records, that combine for a 37-13 mark. Chicago is playing better, but certainly not in the mold of teams that have beaten Indiana now that they have things going. With this being a huge game for the Fever, a win is in order.

I'll go with Indiana on the moneyline.

Note that all these schedulad pitchers must start in these games or else this selectiaon is null and void. As these plays are releastd at 8 AM Eastern, the Padres are -115, the A's are +145 and the Royals are -110 both in Las Vegas and offshore.

                      San Francisco at Milwaukee
Recommendation: San Fran Team Total Over 3.5 (-125 @ Pinnacle)

In Milwaukee starters Randy Wolf’s eight starts this season at Miller Park, opposing teams have scored 5, 9, 10, 1, 9, 7, 7 and 5 runs. Parts of those outputs were as a result the Brewers’ horrific bullpen but Wolf played a sizable role. In those 48 innings, Wolf surrendered 12 home runs and had a 1.63 WHIP. Those struggles easily outweigh San Francisco’s mediocre offensive ability. The Giants put six runs on the board last night against the Brew Crew and on the season have shown more ability to hit lefties (.737 team OPS). Three out of every four Milwaukee home games this season featured four runs or more from the opposition. Sixth-five percent of those 40 contests saw five runs or more. Shop around for the best number and play the Giants over the team total
