          IC
5 UNIT GAME OF THE WEEK Indian Cowboy Tuesday

He has under 7- on Nationals /pades game.
This is a decent spot for the under as these two teams hook up. Clayton Richard has been solid this year for the Padres which is a key reason why they sit atop the National League. Richard has put together 8 of 10 quality starts and the two non-quality starts over his last ten outings come against the Orioles and the Nationals. Clayton gave up four runs in seven innings against the Nationals the last time he faced them as the Padres fell 3-5. Obviously, he remembers that loss today as he faces them on the road. Livan is pitching solid this year for the Nationals and you have to admire a team that has not quit at all. In fact, Washington will have a decent rotation with Livan and their rookie this year as they look to build a nucleus around him. Livan has not won over his last two starts despite pitching well and his team lost in a no-decision to San Diego on the road earlier this year 2-1. I expect both pitchers to pitch well as this game is likely to go under the posted total. The Under is 6-0-2 in Richard's last 8 road starts and the Under is 9-1-1 in Hernandez's last 11 home starts.

                  double-dime bet 907 PIT / 908 HOU Under 8 Bodog
Analysis: The UNDER 8 RUNS between the Houston Astros and the Pittsburgh Pirates is the DOUBLE STAR Play of the Day!

Love this UNDER. I actually had a strong lean to the ASTROS as well, but i feel the UNDER is the better/safer selection.

First off, both pitchers are primed to pitch well. I'm still a fan of Wandy Rodriguez, even though he's let me down the majority of the season. I know what this guy is capable of, and he's showing some signs of breaking out. I think he has a great opportunity to dominate tonight. However, Brad Lincoln is likely to pitch well against the Astros as well. Lincoln is a great young pitcher, and there's a reason there is so much hype around him. I absolutely love the fact that Lincoln is going to be pitching in front of so many of his friends and family tonight in basically a homecoming. Lincoln has all the motivation in the world to pitch well, and i think he will.

Both offenses are WEAK. Both offenses struggle with power, so they have to manufacture runs. With Rodriguez and Lincoln primed to pitch well, i simply don't see how this game goes OVER. This game has 3-2 written all over it. The line movement has been subtle in this total thus far, but the signs are there. This series is widely considered to be the ugliest series of the week. I understand why, but ugly can be good sometimes. I love capitalizing on UNDER THE RADAR type games. We've dominated doing that for quite some time, and tonight will be more of the same. THE UNDER 8 RUNS is the DOUBLE STAR Play of the Day!

                    triple-dime bet 929 KAN (-143) Sportbet vs 930 SEA
Analysis: Don't look now but the Kansas City Royals have prevailed in 8 of the last 11 and are playing confident and sound baseball. One of the most positive things contributing to the good vibes around the Royals clubhouse these days in the re-emergence of Cy Young award winner Zack Greinke to form. Make no mistake about it, when Zack is dialed in he is as tough as any pitcher in the game today, bar none. Opposing Zack tonight for the Mariners will be Ryan Rowland Smith who hardly inspires one to wager with Seattle seeing as how they have dropped eight of his last nine starts. Simple recipe for success here Royals, just plate Greinke a few runs of support and play defense behind him and this one is all yours. Another thing about this Seattle club guys that is well worth a mention in my view, they are a pathetic 0-10 after a ball game in which their bull pen has blow a save, and that is clearly the case tonight. Remember guys, it's one game in a schedule of 162 regular season contests. However, I do love our chances here. Triple Star on Zack Greinke and the Kansas City Royals.

                          DAVID MALINSKY

                          4* CHICAGO CUBS over ARIZONA

It was gut check time at Chase Field yesterday afternoon, with two struggling teams showing up off of terrible weekend series, and there was a clear early sign as to which team had some guts left – the Cubs got off to a cathartic early lead and controlled the flow. Getting away from Wrigley may be just what the doctor ordered for an underachieving team that is still capable of making a run back to .500. Meanwhile the Diamondbacks have been out-scored 26-6 in losing their last three on this field, and their complete lack of focus shows in having almost twice as many K’s (40) as hits (21). A lost season in the desert has a chance to get very ugly, and this is a prime spot for us to take advantage.

We get a short price here because of a market perception that Carlos Silva is leveling off after a hot opening, with the Cubs losing each of his last four starts. But take a closer look. His ERA in those games (3.04) is right at his season level (2.96), as was his WHIP (1.12 vs. 1.08). If anything, there has even been more pop from his arm, with 20 K’s vs. only three W’s in the span, and all four starts were against winning teams. Now he gets a chance to step way down in class, and his pinpoint control can frustrate a lineup filled with players that lack patience. Meanwhile only Sean Marshall carries any kind of fatigue rating in the bullpen, and while he threw 1.2 innings on Monday, 18 pitches is not bad in going from a day game to a night affair.

Barry Enright got a “W” in his Major League debut, which represented a big jump from AA ball, but there was not much to like – he labored through 102 piches to get through five innings at St. Louis, with four W’s, and a 2:1 ratio of fly ball outs to ground outs. It was mostly baseball roulette, and we are not sure he is ready for this level yet. Given that it is a lost season already they are not going to rush his innings, and that will be a continuing problem, given the horrid 5.76 allowance from the Diamondback bullpen.

This game will definitely be a pitchers duel between New York Yankees starter C.C. Sabathia and Oakland Athletics starter Trevor Cahill. In his last five appearances Trevor Cahill has only allowed eight runs on twenty two hits in thirty four and one third frames. C.C. Sabathia has just gave up seven runs on twenty seven hits in thirty eight innings. Play: Oakland
