Analysis: Listed Pitchers Must Start (Hunter & Beckett)

Both teams are coming off brutal 9th inning meltdown losses in their last game--Texas had yesterday OFF--and they lost on Wednesday at HOME to the Yanks (7-6) after squandering a 6-1 lead---Boston is coming off a brutal 1 run loss AT TORONTO yesterday--blowing a 5-2 lead enterting the 9th inning--as the Red Sox bullpen continues to be less than stellar on the ROAD--as they sport a Team Bullpen ERA of 4.91--Texas is one of baseball's BEST HOME TEAMS (37-22) and they hit right-handers at a .296 clip at HOME for the season & their bullpen has performed well at HOME too (3.55 ERA) for the season--Texas hands the ball to one of their premier HOME starters tonight--in Tommy Hunter. Texas is (6-1) in his 7 HOME starts this season---& Hunter is (6-0) with a very good 2.53 ERA & 1.10 WHIP--I absolutely trust Hunter to come through with a quality start in this spot tonight--and he pitched very well in his only start vs Texas this season. (Win, 6 2/3 IP, 2 ER, 2 solo HR's, 5 hits, 2 BB)--Boston hands the ball to Josh Beckett--who got smacked around vs the Yanks his last start--and Beckett got drilled by Texas earlier this season too. (7 IP, 7 ER, 7 hits, 5 BB)--Beckett has not faired well on the ROAD all year--7 road starts, 6.23 ERA & a 1.62 WHIP---and Beckett has been poor at NIGHT too this season--10 night starts, 6.95 ERA & 1,66 WHIP.
I really like that TEXAS had the day off yesterday, and they were already at home too--& I fu lly expect one of MLB best home teams to bounceback tonight--and I look for Hunter to outpitch Beckett & hand th ball over to their bullpen with the lead. (3*) Triple Star GOW Play on TEXAS tonight.
