Thanks for all the hard work guys. One capper that seems to win most of his posted plays on here is John Ryan. Don't see him on here much though. Must be tough to find his picks huh ? Thanks again.

                    Re: 8-24-10- GC MLB Play-

On Tuesday the Free MLB play is on the New York Mets. Game 908 at 7:10 eastern. The Mets are a solid 9-2 at home when the total is 7 or less and 14-5 on Tuesday nights. They have an excellent 2.58 home bullpen era. Making the start tonight is R.A. Dickey. Dickey has better home numbers then Florida starter J. Johnson has on the road . The Mets have won 4 of his last 5 starts and 5 of his 6 home starts overall. In his last 3 starts he has been lights out with a 1.22 era. Johnson has come back to earth with a 4.58 era over his last outings. The Mets are 14-5 in the first game of a home series this year. Look for them to take game 1 here tonight as a live dog. On Tuesday I have a Nice Blowout system that wins by 4 runs per game. For the free play take the Mets. GC

                      Analysis:
                      Balt O's /Chi Sox Under 8

Dbl Dime Under Chi Sox/Balt O's 8 +100, List the Hurlers as it goes under tonight. The sharps hammered the total down to 8 off a (9). The Gavin Floyd and J Guthrie show will hold the bats in check tonight in Chicago. The Balt O's Guthrie 7-12 and 3.97 ERA & he has owned the Chi Sox @ a smooth 1.80 ERA @ Chicago. The White Sox have cooled off and this baby goes Under easy tonight in the Windy City. Both hurlers bounce back into great form tonight. The Under is 5-0 in Guthrie's last 5 starts as an underdog.

Scott Rickenbach’s MLB 8* (Regular Play) OVER in Toronto vs New York Yankees @ 7:05 ET - Rzepczynski vs Moseley – RATING SYSTEM: Plays range from 6* on up to 10* so this includes 7* and 8* picks as well. 6*, 7*, 8*: most common play ratings with a 9* being a Top Play! 10* plays are a step above a 9* Top Play. The *10* is Scott's highest rated selection!

The Yankees and Blue Jays got involved in a rare, low-scoring match-up yesterday. The Yanks sent a rookie hurler to the mound and Toronto struggled as they faced a hurler they weren’t familiar with. At the same time, Toronto starter Brandon Morrow enjoyed great success as he faced a Yankees lineup that was not at full strength. Some players were rested and, of course, Alex Rodriguez was out. Though A-Rod will still be out, yesterday was the first game the Yanks had lost without him this season. The Yankees lineup will be much stronger today as Derek Jeter returns from a day of rest and we look for the Yanks to pound Marc Rzepczynski. The southpaw has had one impressive start this season. That was a two-hitter against the Angels. In his other three starts this season, he’s allowed 12 earned runs on 22 hits in 14.2 innings of work. Also, in his most recent outing, Rzepczynski walked five batters while striking out zero. Against the Yankees, the left-hander has a 7.71 ERA in his career and he’s been hammered at a .308 clip. Look for more of the same here.

The Yankees send Dustin Moseley to the mound for this one. The right-hander has allowed four earned runs or more in four of his last seven outings. Making that even more concerning is that he averaged less than five innings in those four games. The point is that Moseley is often getting hit hard and knocked out early in his outings and he now faces a Blue Jays team against whom he’s winless in four career outings. Toronto has hit .290 against Moseley in his career and also note that the right-hander has been hit at a .325 clip in his road outings this season. Moseley allowed just two earned runs in his only career outing at the Rogers Centre but he was fortunate in that game as he allowed 9 hits in just 5 innings of work. Moseley has allowed 7 homers in his last 4 starts and that includes two in his start against Toronto earlier this month. It’s definitely not a good match-up for him as the Blue Jays are the top home run hitting team in the league! The Blue Jays are 13-4 to the over on Tuesdays this season. The Yankees are 11-5 to the over on Tuesdays this season. When on the road with a money line of -100 to -125, the Yanks are 7-4 to the over this season. Only one of Moseley’s five starts this season has stayed under the total. As for Rzepczynksi, his only start in the Rogers Centre this season resulted in an over and we look for more of the same here. Play OVER the total in Toronto as an *8* Regular Play selection.

Scott Rickenbach’s MLB 10* (Top Play) OVER in Texas vs Minnesota @ 8:05 ET: Lewis vs Pavano – RATING SYSTEM: Plays range from 6* on up to 10* so this includes 7* and 8* picks as well. 6*, 7*, 8*: most common play ratings with a 9* being a Top Play! 10* plays are a step above a 9* Top Play. The *10* is Scott's highest rated selection!

After narrowly escaping being no-hit in a 4-0 shutout loss yesterday, we look for the Twins bats to bounce back this evening. They lead the majors with a .280 average on the season and they face a “hittable” Colby Lewis. While the Rangers right-hander has some impressive full-season numbers, he’s certainly been far from dominant of late. He’s allowed 9 hits in 3 of his last 6 starts. He’s allowed at least 3 earned runs in 6 of his last 10 starts. In those ten starts Lewis has given up 68 hits in 61.1 innings of work. As you can see, Lewis has been quite hittable over the last two months and it’s no surprise that the Rangers have won just two of his last ten starts! Lewis has not fared too well against Minnesota in his career. He’s compiled a 4.40 ERA in 6 games (2 starts) against the Twins in his career. In many respects, Lewis is fortunate the damage hasn’t been worse. In 14.1 innings of work versus Minnesota, the Rangers right-hander has given up 3 homers plus he’s walked 10 batters. Look for the Twins imposing lineup to once again give him trouble again tonight. The Twins were shutout yesterday but the last six times they’ve been held to two runs or less in a game, they’ve responded by averaging 6 runs in their very next game.

The Twins won’t be the only team pounding out hits tonight. Look for the Rangers to enjoy a huge game against Carl Pavano. The Minnesota right-hander has just one win in his four career starts against the Rangers. Pavano has compiled a 9.00 ERA in those outings and he’s been pounded at a .347 clip by Texas sticks. He also comes into this start in a major slump. Pavano was fortunate that, prior to allowing 7 earned runs to the White Sox in his last start, he hadn’t been charged with even more runs. The fact is, Pavano has been getting hit consistently hard over his last four starts. Whether he’s wearing out or running out of the steam at this late juncture of the season, the fact is that he’s been very hittable. Pavano has given up 41 hits in his last 25.1 innings of work and he now faces a Rangers lineup that leads the American League with a .294 batting average in home games this season. In the second half of the season, when playing against a team with a winning record, the Twins are 52-37 to the over the last 3 seasons combined. With both pitchers having low ERAs here, we are getting extra line value as that is holding the posted total down lower for this game. The fact is that both Pavano and Lewis have been more hittable recently than the have all season and each hurler must deal with a very potent lineup tonight. Lewis has mostly been an “under” pitcher this season but we feel his current form dictates a reversal here and, as for Pavano, the Twins have stayed under the total just twice in his last six road starts! Minnesota had gone over the total in five straight games before their last two games stayed under the total. As for the Rangers, they were on an 8-3 run to the over before yesterday’s 4-0 win. Play OVER the total in Texas as a *10* Top Play selection.
