Detroit is playing their last game of their West Coast road trip tonight and has played fairly well, coming in two straight wins against the Clippers and Kings. I expect the Pistons to bring a good effort to close out their road trip successfully before heading home. Meanwhile, Golden State is playing their first game back home after a long five game East Coast road trip. This game will be their sixth game in nine nights as well. I expect the team to be less focused because of returning home after their long road trip. Also, this game will be their third game without forward David Lee, who has made a significant impact on their team this season. Detroit is 7-3 against the spread this season, mainly because they are being undervalued by the betting public. However, this team still has a core group of veterans and good scorers. Golden State has only beat one team all season by more than 7 points, and that was a very weak LA Clippers team. The Pistons have the edge in motivation as well as value, in addition a decent sized road underdog. Look for them to cover this spread and possibly win outright.
The Redskins are coming off a bye-week with their QB McNabb getting much scrutiny on if he can bounce back after a lackluster performance October 31st at Detroit. McNabb has had a history of bouncing back successfully off sluggish performances and we won't discard that notion tonight vs his former team. He surely has a good supporting cast and a good atmosphere to shine in tonight. On the other hand, the Eagles are rolling offensively. Vick is flourishing and he has to thank his supporting cast offensive line and great skill weaponry DeSean Jackson and Maclin to name a few. The Eagles are 6-1 O/U after accumulating 350+ yards in previous game, 6-2 O/U in November, and 11-5 O/U after an ATS loss. Washington is 8-2 O/U after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in previous game. We're going to look for a higher scoring game tonight.
My 100 dime release is on the Philadelphia Eagles. As I releese this play at 5 a.m. pacific, I'm laying -3 points both here in Las Vegas and at the offsheore books. As I always suggest to you, be sure to shop your numbers, especially this time a year, when you have daily sports like the NBA and oddsmakars tend to be all over the place with their lines.
