The Angels were certainly due against Boston. They lost 15 of 16, and finally walked away with the last two here, closing the series with an 11-0 whitewash of the Sox. This certainly doesn't look like the typical Twins team, as they currently have the dubious distinction of sharing the worst record in baseball with the White Sox. The Twins, even when they have had more respectable teams, have always struggled against the tough AL East where they are 38-75 in their last 113, including a not-so-pleasant track record in Boston where they have proceeded to drop their last seven. The Sox sport a 41-15 mark in Wakefield's last 56 home starts vs. teams with a losing record.
