The Atlanta Dream has opened poorly at 0-3, and it started with two straight OT losses on their home court. This team is expected to contend for the Eastern Conference title, so I expect them to rise to their level of talent in this one. One of those OT losses was to this same New York team, so expect the Dream to play with an extra edge here. The Dream have been the best road team in the WNBA of late when it comes to grabbing the cash, as they are 8-1 ATS in their last nine dating back to last season. The Liberty is not a good bounce-back team at 0-4 ATS following a straight up loss. Atlanta gets this one.

The Mets continue their extended road trip, heading to Atlanta to face-off vs. the Braves. They have acquitted themselves nicely on this road trip as their pitching has been superb. They allowed 7 runs to Milwaukee, but in the other six games have allowed just 9 runs, or 1.5 per game. The Braves should be a bit worn down as they head home after a 12-game road trip. The Mets are 6-1 in their last seven vs. a right-hand starter, and are getting it done vs. top-flight pitching at 4-1 in their last five vs. a starter with a WHIP of less than 1.15.

Analysis:
Play on Texas at 7:05 ET. This is excellent value on the visiting Rangers, who start the unbeaten Alexi Ogando, who we've gone with numerous times this season. In 12 starts thus far, Ogando is 7-0 with a 2.10 ERA and he has demonstrated a real consistency by allowing 2 ER or less in 10 of those outings. Tonight, he faces a Yankees team that has lost a boatload of loot in night games this season. We took the Yanks on Sunday, noting their strong record in day games and they beat Cleveland 9-1. However, we weren't surprised at all to see them lose last night at home to the Indians, 1-0, as they are now 19-25 in night games this season and -$1485 because they are typically big favorites in these games. Tonight, they start CC Sabathia, but he could be in for some trouble against a Texas lineup averaging 5.2 rpg vs. lefties TY (13-9). Also, Sabathia has not pitched as well at home compared to the road with a 4.08 ERA at Yankee Stadium. Texas had Monday off, which is a nice scheduling advantage + they are 10-2 this season when off BB losses. They are also a good value at +100 to +150 on the road w/ a 34-23 record in that price range the last two seasons. Texas is our AL Dog of the Month.
