Both starters are very good. But J.Weaver is a notch above no doubt. He's been outstanding with an ERA under 2.00 this season. At home he's 3-1 with an ERA of 2.23 and a WHIP of 1.08. C.Kershaw is just 2-2 on the road with an ERA of 4.36 and a WHIP of 1.29. Angels bounce back after getting shut out last night with their stopper

Game: Chicago White Sox at Chicago Cubs (4:10 PM Eastern)
                          Pick: Chicago Cubs -110 (moneyline)

The Chicago White Sox have a leg-up in the battle for Chicago, beating the Cubs in their opener 6-4. The Cubs will be armed on the mound with Matt Garza who is a top shelf pitcher and is just beginning to find his way in Chicago, allowing 5 runs total in his last two starts. Garza has pitched much better at home where in his last three starts the Cubs have reigned victorious in all of them while he has worked to a stellar 2.25 ERA, with one of the wins at the White Sox. The White Sox have not executed on the road vs. a team with a losing home record where they are 1-5 in their last six. The Cubs have been bouncing-back off a bad day on the mound where they are 5-1 in their last six after allowing 5 or more runs.
                          Play the Cubs here.

                            Sat plays
We have a double header going today in which Pitt should be a sizable dog in both games. I am going to play for Pitt to take at least one of these games. Washington is new to winning and they might be little satisfied right now. To take both ends of a DH is tough. Washington hasn't exactly been tearing the cover off the ball. 7 of the L10 games they have hit .200 or under as a team.

I will throw 2 units on Pitt to win the 1st game @ +140. If they win, we stop w/2.8 unit gain. If they lose we throw 2 units on the 2nd game. The line for the 2nd game opened @ Pitt +150. Again only play the 2nd game if we lose the 1st one. It is not an auto play

                            So it is
                            2* Pittsburgh +140 over Washington (3:30 pm) - 1st game
                            If lose game 1 then
                            2* Pittsburgh +150 over Washington(around 6:30-7pm) - 2nd game

2** Baltimore +160 over Atlanta (7pm) - I looked to ride Atlanta over Balty in this series B/C Balty has been struggling offensively. I thought this line might be -130 or so. I had to change my mind on this and play the value once the line came out. The line is the same as last night's game. Arrieta has been pitching much better than Guthrie has. Jurrjens is also been pitching better than Hudson. Atlanta is .500 as a team w/Hudson on the mound.
We get the same line but a much better match up.

2** San Fran/Detroit under 8.5(7pm) - Scherzer has been dominant at home this year. The under is 7-3 in his starts @ home. With San Fran struggling on offense, I look for Mad Max to come up solid once again. Zito looked strong last time out. I got to watch that game and he was spotting that 87 MPH fastball well. San Fran is on a 19-5-3 under run right now. With Vanover as the ump, the under has hit in 10 of his L13 IL games. His almost 65% strike% gets the hitters swinging. This is the perfect ump for a control pitcher like Zito
