Winnipeg has covered the spread in 19 of the last 25 games as a home underdog of three points or less and they are only allowing an average of 16 points a game on defense this season. dime bet Today I like CLEVELAND -115 against Toronto.
Cleveland is coming off of a one run win last night against Toronto, and the Blue Jays have lost three straight road games, as well as six of their last eight games overall. Both starting pitchers are garbage, but Cleveland has had the slightly better bullpen lately. Both bullpens have struggled overall but Toronto's has been worse. Also, the Indians bullpen has pitched much better at home this season. I expect them to carry their momentum over to this game and get another win at a cheap price.

5*Chicago Cubs @ Pittsburgh Pirates - PIRATES TO WIN (-120)

James McDonald is on the mound for the Pirates. He is 5-4 on the year with a 4.40 ERA and 1.59 WHIP. Nothing special, but he hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in an outing since May 13th and the Pirates are 4-1 in his last 5 starts. The Cubs will send Rodrigo Lopez to the mound, who is 1-2 on the year with a 3.91 ERA and 1.42 WHIP. Batters are hitting .290 against Lopez. Rodrigo has been back and forth between the bullpen and starting for the Cubbies this year. The Pirates come into tonight's game with a surprising 45-42 record, while the Cubs are just 36-53 on the year. Note that the Cubs are just 2-5 in their last 7 games and 28-61 in their last 89 games following a win. They are also just 5-16 in their last 21 road games, and 4-10 in their last 14 road games vs right-handed starters. Note that the Pirates are 6-2 in their last 8 home games, and have bounced back from losses as they are 5-0 in their last 5 following a loss. The Pirates are also 4-0 in their last 4 games following an off day, and 5-1 against divisional NL Central opponents. Like I had mentioned, the Pirates are 4-1 in McDonald's last 5 starts, and 6-1 in his last 7 starts with 5 days of rest. The Cubs are just 1-5 in their last 6 meetings in Pittsburgh, and 7-16 in their last 23 meetings overall. Also take a look at the Cubs 5.12 runs against on the road compared to the Pirates 3.71 runs against at home. At a generous price I will take the Pirates here at home with confidence with a 5 star selection!
