Analysis: Rarely do I lay a price this high, but with David Price pitching at home against Andrew Miller it's worth it.

Price is an All-Star because of the way he pitches at Tropicana Field. His ERA has been way better at home throughout his your career. It was 2.93 two years at home, 1.96 last season and 3.26 this season, all better than on the road.

Price will be pitching on extra rest, too. Tampa Bay is 5-1 the past six times Price has pitched with five days rest. The Rays also are 25-7 the last 32 times Price has faced AL East foes.

Miller has won three in a row with a 3.57 ERA since getting a new lease on life and joining the Red Sox starting rotation on June 20. But Miller has been very fortunate. He's not nearly this good and is due to get clobbered. His strikeout-to-walk ratio is just 13-to-11 during this span.

Game: Pittsburgh Pirates @ Houston Astros
                Pick: Pirates Over 3 1/2 Runs (-110)

Analysis: This year’s surprising young Pirates team strolls into Minute Maid Park tonight, which allowed the tenth most prolific scoring stadium in the Major Leagues during the first half of the season. The current projected lineup for the Pirates has faced Houston starter Brett Myers for a total of 59 at-bats, hitting an unbelievable .441 with 12 RBI’s over those plate appearances. This calculates out to a 6.71 ERA for Myers. This season alone, Myers has a 5.33 ERA at home, 5.06 ERA at night, 7.84 ERA thus far in July, and 6.00 ERA in one start against Pittsburgh. Look for this Pirates roster to get on base early and often, and help continue our hot streak.

                Second Bet
Game: Los Angeles Dodgers @ Arizona Diamondbacks
Pick: Dodgers -1/2 First Five Innings (+105)

Analysis: Young flamethrower Clayton Kershaw takes the mound tonight for the Los Angeles Dodgers, against Joe Saunders and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Kershaw has absolutely dominated this Arizona lineup in the past. This projected Arizona lineup is hitting just .114 with 2 RBI’s in 70 at-bats versus Kershaw. This calculates out to a 0.94 ERA for Kershaw over the span of those at-bats. He has also recorded a K/9 of 11.31, justifying his dominance as more than just luck. In one matchup earlier this season, Kershaw allowed zero runs at home against the Diamondbacks. Over the past three seasons, Kershaw has maintained a 3.54 ERA in away games, 3.19 ERA at night, 2.02 ERA in July, 2.70 ERA versus Arizona, and 2.50 ERA playing at Chase Field. Meanwhile, Joe Saunders has struggled mightily against these Dodger hitters, as they have hit .286 with 11 RBI’s in 70 at-bats, calculating out to a 5.19 ERA for Saunders. Furthermore, he has a 4.94 ERA at home this season, and gave up 3 earned runs in six innings versus L.A. earlier this year. Over the past three seasons, Saunders has a 4.31 ERA at home, 4.06 ERA at night, 4.67 ERA in July, and 3.96 ERA versus the Dodgers at home. Los Angeles should be able to jump out to a lead through the first five innings, and help make us 2-0 on the day!

                            NY Mets-Philadelphia Phillies Under 8

The Mets will have a short handed lineup tonight going against Vance Worley, who wasn't even thought about this year with the marquee pitchers in the Phillies lineup. Worley, has been one of the best pitchers in all of baseball over the last two months, should lock it down against the broke Mets lineup. The Phillies sometimes struggle with the bats and I expect R.A. Dickey to pitch well against them tonight. It will be a pretty cool night for July, which also makes it harder for homerun balls. Take the Under.
