Suddenly the Angels are left for dead after dropping the first three at home in their recent series vs. the Rangers. They have picked up the pieces and have cut the deficit to three games in the loss column and are back in the race. Who better to stop the bleeding than Jered Weaver, who won the critical game four vs. the Rangers without whom the Angels may have been finished. He takes the mound again tonight with his glimmering 2.10 ERA. That may sound pretty lofty, but it pales in contrast to what he has done at home on the season where his ERA is 1.49. Those aren't novelty numbers or one-year wonder numbers for Weaver, as the Angels are 38-14 in his last 52 home starts. The White Sox have dropped below .500 and have struggled against the good teams, now showing 3-10 in their last 13 vs. a winning club. I'm riding Weaver and the Angels at home.Comment
