triple-dime bet 966 LOS (-130) Bodog vs 965 COL Analysis: Play on LA Dodgers at 4:10 ET. We used the Dodgers back to back days earlier in the week as they dominated St. Louis by scores of 13-2 and 9-4 (as +140 dogs). They haven't let up since, taking the first two games of this series from division rival Colorado by scores of 6-1 and 7-6. With that, the club has matched a season high five game win streak and the bats are really hot right now w/ 35 runs scored L4 games, an average of nearly nine per game. They have also taken 18 of 26 here at Dodgers Stadium vs. Colorado. The Rockies are not a good road team, averaging o†nly 3.5 rpg away from Coors Field. Saturday's loss was particularly painful for Colorado, who blew a 4-0 lead and lost in walkoff fashion in the 11th inning. They are now just 14-31 as underdogs this season, including 1-7 vs. LA. Sunday they find themselves as dogs against the emerging Nathan Eovaldi, who has looked very sharp in four starts w/ a 2.05 ERA. He won as a big +170 dog over Chris Carpenter and St. Louis last time out (well the team did) as he allowed just one run over five innings (no decison). In his lone start at Chavez Ravine, Eovaldi threw six scoreless innings. The Rockies have lost a ton of money in all settings this season (-$2030), but they have been particularly bad in day games at 15-27. We look for the Dodgers to stay hot. LA Dodgers are our 3* NL West Game of the Year.

                Arizona Diamondbacks -149

Both pitchers are pitching very well and this game should be a great pitchers duel. Arizona is at home and at this point of the season has something to play for. The Diamondbacks are the better team and are starting to get back on a nice roll after last weeks losing streak. Look for Arizona to get the home win. Take the Diamondbacks

Game: Tampa Bay at Toronto (1:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Toronto +110 (moneyline) (risk 2 to win 2.2)

Tampa Bay is one of the best road teams in the league, but their bats are weak right now (3.7 runs per game over their last seven). David Price has pitched very well this season, but the Rays have lost six straight with him on the mound when facing an AL team batting .265 or worse. And, Toronto has fared well against good pitchers this season, going 20-14 thus far vs. pitchers with a WHIP of 1.200 or better. With Brandon Morrow on the mound the past two seasons, the Jays are 18-8 vs. winning teams. Tampa Bay has won four straight in this series but Toronto is 21-10 this season when playing with triple-revenge. They are also 14-8 this season when coming off a close one-run loss. The Blue Jays are also 20-8 dating back to last season when coming off three straight losses. I like the live home dog here, so play on Toronto.
Game: New York at Baltimore (1:35 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Baltimore +155 (moneyline) (risk 2 to win 3.1)
Pick: 3 units on Game Total UNDER 9 -115 (risk 3 to win 2.6)

Game one of this Sunday’s doubleheader finds the Yankees at Baltimore with Bartolo Colon against Zach Britton. Colon has respectable overall season numbers, but the 38-year-old has had two very different seasons: a great first half, followed by a DL stint and he’s been throwing awful since. His last three starts he’s 0-2 with a 6.23 ERA. His last two starts have been disasters, allowing 10 runs in 11 innings against Kansas City and Oakland - not exactly offensive powerhouses. The Orioles play hard for Buck Showalter and are on one of their hot streaks again, winning five in a row – all as a dog! Baltimore lefty Britton is just 23 and has been outstanding at home, with a 4-3 record and a 2.81 ERA in Camden Yards where opponents hit just .229 off him. On the road he struggles badly, but he’s a home dog today. Play the Orioles on the runline in game one. Also take the UNDER here. While the O's have gone 9-2 OVER with Britton on the mound on the road, at home they are 7-2 UNDER with him toeing the rubber. Meanwhile, the Yanks are 7-2 UNDER on the road with Colon on the mound. The Yankees are 12-3 UNDER this season when revenging a road loss as a favorite. Baltimore doesn't score 12+ runs a lot, but when they do, they are a very good bet to go UNDER the following game. The O's are a perfect 9-0 UNDER the past three seasons after putting up 12+ runs. They are also 21-8 UNDER the past two seasons after 3+ straight wins. Take Baltimore and the UNDER here.
Game: Chicago Cubs at Milwaukee (2:10 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Chicago Cubs +235 (moneyline) (risk 2 to win 4.7)

The Cubs are a big dog here based on their overall season numbers, but it’s not justified as this team has found some offense in the second half of the season. And they will hit in a small, homer-friendly park like Milwaukee. They faced a Brewers’ ace yesterday in Gallardo and got 10 hits, two walks and 4 runs in a 6-4 loss as Milwaukee had to use its best bullpen arms. Chicago starter Casey Coleman has struggled badly at home, but has been far better away and the Cubs are 7-3 in their last 10 road games vs. a right-handed starter. They face Zach Greinke, who has a 4.50 ERA against the Cubs this season, allowing 16 base runners in 12 innings. Milwaukee now as a double digit lead in the division, so there is no urgency with this club. And in a park like this and Chicago holding a nice bullpen edge, the visitors have outstanding value. Play the Cubs.
Game: Chicago White Sox at Seattle (4:10 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Chicago White Sox -120 (moneyline) (risk 2 to win 1.7)

The White Sox won’t go away and have plenty to play for as a third place team, just seven games out of first. Chicago has been a go-against at home but very good all season on the road. The White Sox are 10-3 in their last 13 road games. They’ve won four of the last six games, twice as a dog, and face a Seattle team going nowhere as they look for the sweep today. Last place Seattle has lost 8 of 11 with an atrocious offense that is No. 29 in runs scored, No. 30 in on-base percentage and slugging. Seattle starts Jason Vargas, who is very hittable with 168 hits in 163 innings allowed, plus a 5.50 ERA his last three starts. This team has a losing record both home and away and the Mariners are 19-39 in their last 58 games as a home underdog. The Mariners are also 2-7 in Vargas' last nine starts. Chicago starter Gavin Floyd has a 3.72 ERA his last three starts, fanning 19 in 19 innings with only three walks, and the team is 6-1 his last seven starts. He loves facing the Mariners, with a 1.93 ERA in 14 innings this season. Play the White Sox.
Game: New York at Baltimore (7:35 PM Eastern)
Pick: 2 units on Baltimore +1.5 runs +110 (runline) (risk 2 to win 2.2)

Game two of this double header finds the Yankees at Baltimore with Ivan Nova against Brian Matusz. Nova has a perfect 3-0 record his last three starts, but the kid is not pitching perfect, with a 4.91 ERA in those starts. This is a brutal scheduling stretch for a pitching staff, a double header with the Yankees having the rival Red Sox on deck beginning Tuesday in a huge showdown series. The Yankees are 2-5 in their last seven during game five of a series. And Nova doesn’t eat innings, going 7, 5 and 6 in his last three starts. He faces a good Baltimore offense (No. 15 in runs, No. 8 in slugging), a team that is real bad on the road but close to .500 at home. The Yankees haven’t faced Matusz this season and they’ve never hit him well, with a 2.56 ERA in 31 innings. The Orioles are 5-0 in their last five games vs. a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30 and 7-3 in Matusz's last 10 home starts. The Orioles have more than enough to keep this real close. Play the Orioles on the runline.

                              Sat. (0-3) (-7*) Season 331-339 (-78.5*)
