4-Unit Play. 11-2-08 Take Cincinnati Reds -105 over Tampa Bay Rays (Friday @ 6:50pm est)
We roll with the Red here as they hook up against the Rays. What you have here is a Red's team that I think can step up quite nicely here. We did lose on our top play yesterday in baseball, and that brings us to 5-1 for the 2nd half of the baseball season and on a 10-2 Run as well as a +6930 run as well. Let's see if we can string several wins together here. We like the fact that TB comes into this game off a 13-0 win last game. Cincinnati comes off back to back wins this game, winning 4-1 and 9-4 and the question here is if Cincinnati can win 3 in a row. Lodollo and Baz here. Lodolo has a 3.51 era and comes off a game where he gave up 4 runs and I think he bounces back here. This is a decent public fade too. Nothing against Shane Baz, he does have a 3.95 era but bear in mind that he had 5 walks last game, he is averaging over a hit per inning and I think it makes sense here to back the Reds here. Lodolo has been a little off of a late, but he is the same pitcher that went 7 innings, 1 run against the Pirates, or 6 innings, 4 hits and 1 run against the Cubs, or 7 innings, 1 hit and 1 run against the Padres. Let's go with the pitcher that is clearly on the bounce-back, go against a pitcher that has been getting a bit lucky and who only has 3 starts under his belt and against a Blue jays team who comes off a big 13-0 win last game in for a classic let down.
