Justin Verlander isn’t quite where he wants to be, but he is fresher than usual at this point in the year because he misses so much time. Reds starter Julian Aguiar has not been sharp in his rookie year and gives up too many big hits. Houston has the best slugging percentage in the National League during day games. Cincinnati stopped the bleeding yesterday to avoid the sweep from the Brewers, but they have not been playing well. Houston has the better bullpen, so that we will go with the run line.
