Take Philadelphia ATS as my top NFL pick for Sunday. This pick falls into one of my top NFL systems and New Orleans is getting way too much respect in this game as they have played nobody so far this season. Meanwhile Philadelphia is coming off a loss against an Atlanta team they definitely should have beat but bad play calling cost them that game. Philadelphia was up six points with under 1.5 minutes left in the game, they decided to pass the ball and then allowed Atlanta to get a quick touchdown. Meanwhile the clock was their enemy. I definitely expect to see a fired-up Philadelphia team this week with a chip on their shoulder as they definitely should be 2-0 to start the season. Philadelphia is hands down the superior team in this matchup and I would not be shocked to see a double-digit victory by them on the road. New Orleans beat up on a very bad Carolina team that has averaged just 6.5 points per game this season and allowed 36.5 points per game including 47 points against this New Orleans team and 26 points against a mediocre Chargers team. Philadelphia has converted 37% of their third downs this season and that is against two very good defensive teams which New Orleans is not. Play Philadelphia ATS

7-Unit Play - Tennessee -2.5-110 over Green Bay (Sunday, September 22, 2024, 1:00 pm ET)

Take Tennessee ATS as my top NFL pick for Sunday. This pick falls into one of my top NFL systems and I really like Tennessee at home in this spot. Green Bay is coming off a victory in a game they definitely should have lost but Indianapolis had three interceptions and fumbled three times handing Green Bay the victory. I do expect Green Bay to struggle through the air on the road here Sunday after putting up just 122 passing yards against Indianapolis. Indianapolis did struggle to stop the run against Green Bay however Tennessee is much better defensively and they will be able to stop this one-dimensional offense. This is a hungry Tennessee team looking for their first victory of the season and I definitely expect them to step up defensively at home. Tennessee did play well defensively against New York allowing just 164 passing yards. Tennessee has allowed just 227 yards per game the season which ranks first defensively in the NFL and Green Bay has allowed 383 yards per game the season which ranks 27th defensively. 5-Unit Play - Jacksonville +5.5-110 over Buffalo (Monday, September 23, 2024, 7:30 pm ET)

Take Jacksonville ATS as my top NFL pick for Monday night. This pick falls into one of my top NFL systems and I really like Jacksonville in the spot on the road here Monday night. This Jacksonville team is much better than the record indicates and they are a hungry team coming into this game. Miami basically handed Buffalo that victory last week as they did hold Allen to just 139 passing yards but three interceptions and an injured Tagovailoa cost Miami who dominated the time of possession by almost 13 minutes. I actually have Jacksonville going into Buffalo and pulling off the upset here Monday night as this is an extremely tough spot for Buffalo. Lawrence will have a big game here Monday night against a Buffalo defense that did allow 28 points at home against Arizona. Buffalo's opponents have converted 50% of their third downs against them this season. Play Jacksonville ATS

3 Unit Play. Take Las Vegas Raiders -5 over Carolina Panthers (4:05p.m., Sunday, September 22 CBS) This is the home opener for the Raiders, and they are coming off an impressive win over the Ravens last Sunday. The Panthers have been the worst team in the league, and I do not believe Andy Dalton will be able to rectify all of their issues. The Raiders scored on their final four possessions last week, and look for that to carryover into this week. Las Vegas is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 home games when they are the favorite.

2 Unit Play. Take Dallas Cowboys +1 over Baltimore Ravens (4:25p.m., Sunday, September 22 FOX) Both teams need this game badly, as Dallas does not want to fall to 1-2 on the season and Baltimore cannot afford to go 0-3. Dallas laid an egg last week against New Orleans, but I believe they will bounce back on Sunday. Baltimore seems to have major issues on the offensive side of the football, and I do believe Derek Henry is the right fit for this shotgun offense. Dallas did not lose a home game during the regular season in 2023, and I find it hard to believe they will lose two straight home games in 2024. Getting them at this number is too good to pass up.

7 Unit Play Take Detroit -3 over Arizona (4:25pm est):

The Detroit Lions dominated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week but somehow lost a game that they doubled the Bucs in yardage. The Lions were in the red zone 7 different times in that contest but only managed to score one touchdown. This is more or less the exact same group of Lions offensive players and coaches who had the best red zone offense in the NFL last season. Detroit head coach Dan Campbell has posted the best ATS record in the league since taking over the Lions in 2021 and his teams have went 8-0 against the number their game following an outright loss. The Lions hold a huge edge up front in the trenches in this one and getting them at this price is excellent line value.

4 Unit Play Take Indianapolis -1 over Chicago (1:00pm est):

Always looking to back 0-2 teams in week three in the NFL and we have one here with a desperate Indianapolis team playing at home. The Colts have had a hard schedule to start the year going up against Super Bowl contender Houston and then having to face Green Bay off a loss in Lambeau Field. Now at home in this one they get a struggling Chicago Bears offense that has looked awful to start the season. The Bears do have a lucky win to begin the year against Tennessee but don't be fooled as they were outplayed in that contest.

Take Indianapolis in this game.

4 Unit Play Take Baltimore -1 over Dallas (4:25pm est):

Baltimore is another desperate 0-2 I'm looking to back. The Ravens could very easily be 2-0 right now but instead come in winless and cause of that it seems most have given up on this team. This is still a very good squad and one that was the #1 seed in the AFC last season. Head coach John Harbaugh knows how to push the right buttons with his teams in these big games and this is a big one here for Baltimore. I'm not sold on Dallas and last week's loss to New Orleans was most embarrassing outcome by a so called decent team so far this NFL season. Lots of red flags surround the Cowboys who I felt didn't look overly impressive in their opening week win over Cleveland either as the Dallas offense has really struggled thus far.

3 Unit Play Take New Orleans -2.5 over Philadelphia (1:00pm est):

At some point the betting markets have to realize this Philadelphia Eagles team isn't very good as they come into this game winners of just 2 of their last 9 games overall. The Philadelphia defense failed miserably late last season and they have looked awful in both of their games so far this season as well. No team has looked more impressive to begin the NFL season than the New Orleans Saints as they have been unstoppable on offense and even their defense has been very good. I like to be proactive early in the NFL season and backing the Saints is the way to do that in this matchup.

3 Unit Play Take Denver +6.5 over Tampa Bay (1:00pm est):

Denver rookie quarterback Bo Nix hasn't looked good to start the season but keep in mind he's had two tough draws as he had to play on the road in Seattle in what is one of the toughest places for anyone to play in and his other game was last week against a very physical, aggressive Pittsburgh Steelers defense. Things will lighten up here going up against a Tampa Bay defense that's dealing with a ton of injuries right now. The line in this game is inflated as the Buccaneers had no business winning last week in Detroit against a Lions team that dominated the action in that contest.

Take Denver plus the points.

3 Unit Play Take Tennessee -2.5 over Green Bay (1:00pm est):

There's rumors going around Green Bay may go with quarterback Jordan Love in this game but I'm not sure I believe that's the case as he's still been limited in practice and the Packers are coming off a win. Either way if Love does play I don't feel he will be 100% and this is an extremely tough matchup going up against a very good Tennessee defense that should be ready for Love or Malik Willis behind center. The Packers got a much needed win last week but things are likely going to be much more difficult this week as they face off against a desperate Titans need who are 0-2 at home and who very easily could be 2-0 to start the year.

Monday September 23rd 2024-

3 Unit Play Take Jacksonville +5 over Buffalo (7:30pm est):

Jacksonville very easily could be 2-0 going into this game but instead they're 0-2 overall as they've dropped two very winnable games and once again 0-2 teams have covered 60% of the time in week three the last 20 years in the NFL. The Jaguars have a solid passing quarterback which keeps the backdoor open in this one and especially going up here against a Buffalo Bills defense that's missing a couple of key guys to injury,
