A few hours ago, the Twins were scoreboard-watching with hope until late-inning heroics by the Tigers and the Royals. Minnesota was awful against good teams this year and closed out the season poorly when they needed wins. Miami has been the worst team in the National League, but their fate has been sealed for months, and they will look to spoil the Twins’ chances at postseason play. Tigers and Royals wins, for the most part, have eliminated Minnesota unless they get a gift collapse. Twins starter David Festa isn’t a pitcher worthy of being favored by this much. Minnesota has to be upset about both teams ahead of them winning in the fashion they did. Look for a lack of focus tonight from the Twins. Take the Marlins.
