Presque Isle Downs - Race #1

#5 Busk	Lots to like about the debut run when he showed some pressing pace and stuck around late, and any step forward off that would probably make him a handful in this second start.
#1 Harbour Bridge	Something like his last would keep him in the frame again today, but I don't trust him a ton with some scattered form and a handful of shares on his page.
#6 Hoylake	He makes a bit of sense from off the pace, and he was just behind 'Bridge when they recently met. Not impossible, but think the top two will settle the opener.
Race Summary	Busk and Harbour Bridge look like the right pair here, but I think Busk has a bit more appeal and upside today, and I'll hope he's the right one to kick off the early multi-race plays.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #3

#6 Warrior's Cobbler	He folded up in the final yards of the debut run, but it wouldn't be any surprise to see him stick around better with that race under his belt. Pace threat for top honors today?
#5 Warrior's Humor	He had a chance to punch on and was just a touch one-paced in the stretch at first asking, but he's another with some reasonable and obvious upside today.
#8 Palace Revolt	Expected something much better from him in that last one, but he was never a real threat. Some room to bounce back today.
Race Summary	Competitive race, but I think Warrior's Cobbler or Warrior's Humor will find enough upside to score. #2 Dancing on Air is another threat at a potentially underlaid price.

Presque Isle Downs - Race #5

#8 Baytown Storm	Price might be OK for this one as she's getting a bit short on excuses and only owns a couple decent running lines. I like the fact that she's still at this level while trying the local company for the first time. Very best stuff keeps her in the picture.
#2 Turk and Wendy	He finished up nicely in the debut run at Colonial and might find that a similar kind of trip plays well over the local footing. Dangerous today.
#1 Atwork	Debuter could get a tricky trip from the fence, but I don't feel like this is the deepest spot we've seen all season, so he probably won't have to be a star to score at first asking.
Race Summary	Baytown Storm has some price appeal today despite inconsistent form, as a couple of the back runs would leave her in the hopper late with these.

Race Summary	JACKSON ROAD earned his top speed figure when second in a sprint last out, his fifth in-the-money finish in nine starts at Parx. The son of Breeders’ Cup Juvenile and G-1 Haskell winner Good Magic could be on the lead or come from off the pace as he did last out from an inner post. Bet to win and place and play a 1-2-4 exacta box.

CHUBS ROCKET - Don't often see a favorable return on investment like +60. This jockey/conditioner tandem has done well together over the last 12 months. It do not take a university education like someone like my buddy Brain has to figure this one out. We have a 1st time starter with a trainer (Rice) who is terrific taking horses out for the first time. WARRIOR'S HUMOR - The morning line odds on this gelding are higher than those of the other entrant from the shedrow of trainer Girten. Often the longer-priced part of a 'split' entry wins. Martinez rode this racer for the first time in the last race and comes right back today. Girten brings him right back. I advise you stay with this live gelding. Bettors took note of this gelding in his maiden race at Presque Isle Downs, sending him off at low odds. Look for a chance at a big improvement right here. PALACE REVOLT - I expect this horse to shock some folks in today's event.

Most definitely the class of the group of horses with an average rating of 63. A nice pick. MIDNIGHT SWAN - He's racing in good form, recording sharp TrackMaster Speed Ratings. An excellent selection. This race horse looks tough considering the high class ratings. Don't throw out of any exotics.
