I've got to go with O ROMEO. Should keep the strong string of finishing positions intact this time out. Will almost certainly compete solidly in the early pace clash which bodes well with this group. Could beat this field given the 76 speed figure garnered in his last outing. OTIS OTIS OTIS - Could provide positive dividends based on strong recent speed figures with an average of 76. Lately Bracho has been on fire which may give the edge to this gelding. GAME BOY BENNY - With a formidable 78 average speed rating at the distance, seems well suited for today's contest. Has been travelling quite well in races of this distance, going 12 for 57 under similar conditions.

CAPTURE MI - Really believe this mount is going to be on the money near the finish line. ON HIS TOES - Ran last time around the track against a higher rated class of horses at Presque Isle Downs. The move down the class ladder should suit him well.

Vulnerable Contenders: #7 FLAWLESS CAT (ML=2/1), #3 SALTA (ML=5/2), #2 CONSIDER ME (ML=4/1),

FLAWLESS CAT - This gelding hasn't been showing me anything in the last couple of efforts. Tough to play any less than sharp equine in a sprint race if he hasn't finished in the money in a sprint in the last sixty days. Going to have a hard go of it with all the other front-runners in this race. SALTA - Pace is so influential, and this speed merchant is going to have a ding-dong battle on his hands. Finished first in his most recent effort with a common speed figure. When I look at today's class rating, it would take an improved performance to score after that in this bunch. CONSIDER ME - This equine doesn't have a tenacious temperament. Very often finishes close, but no cigar. He's probably going to get baked up front. Will be hard for this horse to beat this field off of that last speed rating. Unlikely to improve enough to run a figure close enough to today's Equibase class figure, so put him on the vulnerable competitors list.

PATRIETTIC - Weatherly and Norris partnered up are a railbird's friend. A STING FOR LOVE - Traditional handicapping angle - 3rd or 4th start after a layoff generally leads to a big effort. Today could be the day. Mathes seems to have this filly primed for a big effort. Her workout pattern is great. PRINCESS TERESKA - This mare runs very well off of a vacation. Taking a big class drop in class rating points from her April 24th race at Tampa Bay Downs. Based on that valuable data, I will give this animal the edge.

GIO'S MY DAD - Hard to put any dough on this mare on the top end. Likes to finish in the money though. Don't feel this steed will make an impact in today's race. Followed it up with another less than stellar try.
