Mahoning Valley - Race #6

#6 Gatha's Song	She might be just playable on the board with a couple others in here likely to take some cash, too, and I think she might be in line for a great pressing trip while tracking other stretchout speed.
#3 Hidden Ransom	Not much wrong on his page through four starts, and he has some speed to likely to find the front again while stretching out. Could see the top choice being a thorn in his side.
#2 Double Agent	He's a fairly reliable finisher, and his best chance comes if the top pair both get a bit eager in their respective route debuts and go too fast early. Wouldn't be a surprise to see him punch past.
Race Summary	Gatha's Song stretches out against the boys today for this second start, but I think she might trip out while racing just off Hidden Ransom in the early stages.

Mahoning Valley - Race #7

#4 Queenie Rose	Cutback player would benefit if a couple of the forward players knocked heads early, but the splits may be just honest enough to give her a chance to settle off the speed and pick them up late. She has won two of her last four sprint tries, so she knows how to handle the sharper trip.
#9 Authoritarian Girl	Her dangerous pace keeps her in the picture throughout, and I like that the outside draw should let her attack the other serious speed in here. One of the ones.
#7 Forever Uncaptured	There is some form from better circuits that could translate well here, but she's also wildly inconsistent and not very easy to trust in a spot like this. I don't know...
Race Summary	Queenie Rose has some midrange price appeal while turning back, and she was a super consistent presence over the local footing last season. Wakes up here?

Mahoning Valley - Race #8

#10 Nigiri	He showed nothing in the Belterra debut, but I like that he's right back at this special weight level while making his first local start for a team that has done razor-sharp work with these types in recent years.
#5 Take Five Charlie	Wouldn't be any shock to see this one score first out for the high-powered Ward barn, and they scored with a similar one here at 4/5 earlier this year. Logical starting point.
#7 Blessednotlucky	He has not been able to quite punch home late in those starts so far, but he tends to be in good spots turning for home, and he might be able to do the same today and plug away for a share from there.
Race Summary	Going to basically draw a line through the debut run for Nigiri in hopes that there is something better in store today while making his first local start -- the Hamm barn has done it all at this level here.

Race Summary	LADY ROBO finished in the money in her last two main-track routes, but settled for third behind the two favorites for a higher tag in her Parx debut. She could upgrade to a win in her 14th start at a decent price. Bet to win and place and play 6-2 and 6-5 exactas.

DIVINE MIRACLE - The winning percentage shown by horses entered by Padillapreciad running at this distance are the top in this group of horses in this race. Has been running admirably lately and will most likely be on the lead early on.

BISCAYNE BAY - Every now and then I take some time off, when I come back to the track I feel refreshed. I think it's the same with this mare as she always seems to run well after a vacation. Zielinski drops her down to this class level. You don't need too much more data to think this thoroughbred has a shot at this level. SARAH JANE - Have to give this mare a good shot. Ran a solid contest last time out within the last 30 days. Mare took a little vacation, but has been racing into shape.

Vulnerable Contenders: #5 AUJARA (ML=2/1), #2 CARMEN OHIO (ML=3/1), #3 CHECK OUT LINE (ML=9/2),

AUJARA - Hasn't raced or had any works since October 3rd. Not much value on this morning-line favorite. CARMEN OHIO - This questionable contender has been disappointing the public as the favorite time and time again. I think GIMMEETHREESTEPS is a quite good choice. Is hard not to consider given the company run in recently. Sound average speed figures in dirt sprint races make this equine a solid choice. Is tough not to look at based on speed figs which have been very good - 83 avg - of late. COWBOY IMAGE - His 61 average has this gelding with among the most respectable speed figs in this race. The Equibase Speed Fig of 79 from his last contest looks very good in here. ROCKETING - Can't overlook the connections here, a 15 winning percentage, one of the best at getting into the winner's circle. Has performed soundly recently in sprint races, posting a nifty 64 avg speed fig.

TOO MUCH TUESDAY - Have to give this filly a good shot. Ran a strong contest in the last race within the last month. Last workout was the second fastest of the day. Undeniably on edge for a good one today. I think that a sprinter coming off a layoff will usually run her best in the 3rd or 4th start back. BAR MONEY - My handicapping know-how tells me to be ready for this horse in this event WILDWOOD TRIPLE - This filly is the longer price of the 'split' entry from the barn of Becker.

Vulnerable Contenders: #1 PEYTONS HONOR (ML=3/1), #6 CLOEY ATTACK (ML=4/1), #9 VASARIAH'S IMAGE (ML=9/2),

PEYTONS HONOR - Hard to bet this less than sharp equine the way she ran squirrelly last time. This less than sharp equine ran a most unsatisfactory speed figure last out. She shouldn't run much better and will likely suffer defeat in today's event running that figure. CLOEY ATTACK - 4/1 is not enough of a price to take on this entrant. VASARIAH'S IMAGE - This filly hasn't had any recent good results in sprint affairs. Difficult to bet on her in this race.
