FEATHERS ROAD - Jacobson has shown excellent profits (+72 ROI ) at this distance/surface. Has been running very well lately and should be up near the front end early on. HEY BOSS - Has performed very well as of late in route races, posting a nifty 77 avg Equibase Speed Figure. This pony has a very good win percent in dirt routes.

STORMQUIST - Last time he ran at this distance he earned a figure good enough to win today's race. Looking at the information on all of these ponies, this is the only one to stalk. Worth a serious look at this one. Is ranked number one in earnings per race. A solid try in this race will boost the lifetime total. BRYSONS OPTION - Always be careful of the longer priced equine when a trainer has an 'uncoupled' entry in a race. Dropping in class rating points from his Oct 31st race at Penn National. Based on that info, I will give this one the advantage.

DARING MAX - In against a much less demanding lot than last time out.

ATHENS MOON - You always have to be on the watch for money making rider/handler combos; we have one right here. Speed ratings on the grass point to this horse as a legit contender. Has the best in the field for this dist/surf. This is the only real stalker in the race. Moves back to a trip at which he ran a figure good enough to make him a contender today. This horse has increased his speed figs in each of the last two races. That kind of progress is worth considering when its time to bet. THREEBROTHERS - Gelding had the second fastest workout of the day prepping for this. Was in a $20,000 Claiming race at Santa Anita last race out. That race had a class number of 90 and he is moving down in this event. A certain contender. Solid average class rating on this horse. Should have the ability to run well on the turf. There's something to be said for a change of surface. Last race this horse didn't like the terrain, but if you look two back on the turf at Santa Anita, there was a great effort. I look for that again today.

CROSS THE CAUSEWAY - Bandages were added in the last race. Doesn't bode well for today's race. SWAMPDRAINER - Somewhat easily forgotten speed rating last out at Turf Paradise at 7 1/2 furlongs. Don't think this questionable contender will improve too much in today's race. BLUES RAPPER - Difficult to put your money on the win end of any thoroughbred that finishes second and third as often as this thoroughbred does. Once you've got at least ten races at the oval and still have no victories, its tough to break through for a victory. This gelding ran his best speed fig in some time on the turf in a route contest. There may be a performance bounce today.

1st race – (1) Global Queen drops into a claimer for the first time and adds Saez. Gets the nod in this field. (4) Fun to Run was third last time and looks like a top contender. (2) Scarlet Red Sky may appreciate two turns. (5) Billie Cee may wake up on dirt. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-5.

3rd race – (4) Bebedouro drops a notch in class and can work out a winning trip. (1) Epic Battle deserves attention off the Maker claim. (5) Gamblers Tail will be helped by a dry track.
