DIAMOND STATUS - I just may give this one a shot. Should rebound off last race where she did run out of the money, but was within five lengths at the wire. SHE'S COOL - Rider hops right back on after getting to know the horse by riding last time around the track. That's always a good indicator. That 76 fig this filly recorded in her last race tells me she's a major player today. Is ranked number one in earnings per start (EPS). A dominant performance in this event will boost that total.
Vulnerable Contenders: #4 LADY ARWEN (ML=7/2), #3 PATTY VAN TWINKLE (ML=4/1), #6 DUSK (ML=6/1),
LADY ARWEN - Tough to like the downward flow (73/69/66) of Equibase speed figures. Not likely that the speed fig she earned on Nov 10th will be good enough in this event. PATTY VAN TWINKLE - You always figure that this animal has a shot to be the victor, but she falters often. DUSK - Finished third in her most recent performance with a disappointing speed fig. When I look at today's Equibase class figure, it would take an improved performance to prove victorious after that in this field.
