7-Unit Play. Take Under 124.5 Rice vs. North Texas (Wednesday @ 9pm est)
5 straight cbb winners, let's try to make it a 6-0 CBB and 12-2 Run Today. We roll with the Under here between these two teams. North Texas has won the last 2 years by scores of 16 and 10 points the last two times. North Texas just lost to Memphis by 4 points on the road, and remember North Texas is a fantastic team as they nearly beat Memphis on the road, but this is a team that barely lost to a very good Utah State team, did beat Oregon State, beat Minnesota, is a top 40 defense and with Rice having won 3 in a row, gaining confidence and a team that has double revenge, it does make sense to back the Under here. North Texas focuses heavily on defense after a loss and Rice is a top 150 defense, but if you look closer you will see they are top 10 in effective field goal percentage against opponents. Let's back the Under here with two winning programs, with the road team having revenge and the home team coming in mad at the world and will play great defense as well.
7-Unit Play. Take Over 225 Portland vs. New Orleans (Wednesday @ 8:10pm est)
I know the public has sort of taken this game to the under a bit and the total has gone down a bit from the opening of 226.5, but we have this game at 232 so for that reason, we will indeed take the over. By the way, nice 7*NBA Winner on the celtics yesterday, we are 5-0 with nba to plays and have won several in a row in the NBA, let's see if we can win today. Of course, 24-4 all sports run for +8500 and we have a 7*cbb today. for hopefully our 6th straihgt cbb win. Per this game, remember, what you have here is a New Orleans team that scored less than 100 points last game despite Zion coming back and having a fantastic game. McCollum went 1/14 in that game and as he faces his former team, he should get back in form today. Plus, you have a Portland team that comes off a tight loss to a Pistons team (but who did cover, that was our 4* selection the other day) and we expect them to continue their fantastic style of play and their young core of talent. Remember, Portland can go 6 deep with double digit scoring, the Pelicans and their coaching staff have seen better spreads of late as the memo is out that the entire coaching staff could be fired soon so they are showing some better efforts of late such as big wins over Washington in back/back games and nearly defeating the Clippers. The last time NO put up less than 100 points was 93 against the Knicks and then immediately in their next game they dropped 129 against Nuggets. Portland beat Milwaukee, Dallas and Denver recently and we love the Over here today.
